15th November 2019, Thursday - #Throwback to two weeks ago, so honored and happy to be invited to @lewinterrace for their 4-Course Hokkaido-French Menu Tasting session! Attended with my Mummy. 😍 Here's a review of my comments on the 4 dishes that was served: 1. Hokkaido Uni Cocktail 💜 This is a very refreshing dish to start of with as an appetiser. The seafood was very fresh and nice to chew on as well. Loved the doneness of the onsen egg. The sauce compliment this dish well. 2. Hokkaido Sweet Corn with Foie Gras Risotto 💛 Easily love this dish alot since it consist of everything I loved - Sweet Corn, Foie Gras and Risotto! Very good mix, sweet and sour in one, a perfect combination. The after taste is perfect, I can't get enough of this. Really delicious! 3. Hokkaido Smoked Wagyu Hamburg Steak 💙 The doneness/texture of the wagyu beef steak was just right for me. The sauce is a little on the salty side, but it does goes well with the steak. There was a unique taste to this dish. I am a beef lover, so I liked this. 4. Hokkaido Milk Mousse 💚 Unable to comment as I do not take milk. But the presentation of this dish (and all other dishes) is perfect. Great presentation of your food makes it even more appealing. I's rate this meal 10/10 overall for sure.
