see i regard Kakashi as emotionally unavailable not emotionally unintelligent, hes shown to know and to deeply resonate w peoples feelings but hes guarded. he takes a long time and a lot of poking and prodding to get to open up bout his feelings in anyway but Does Know how to comfort people, how to get through to them and how to see people, hes simply unincliend to do so due to trauma, and we can see this in his relationship with team 7 and yamato, the former wasn't until after the wave arc were he started to geninly regard them as something to be cherished and nurtured hence the chunin exams, and with yamato although we do not know in manga canon we do know in the anime that he basically help yamato create his own human path outside of root.

duffers said there was no version of the story where el could have been with the party in the end bc they/the writers didn't want to get rid of her powers. her powers represent magic and her being gone means the party letting go and moving on from the magic of childhood

all after establishing that she herself never got any of that anyway. so she's not even her own character, she's a symbol for the rest of the party. cool

always reduced to her powers and what everyone else can use them for. awesome

she was never going to get a happy ending. she was never going to get to stay with the people she loves

stuff like this does make the rest of it all feel absolutely pointless to me

there was never any hope. no matter how much she fought or how much she wanted it. this was always going to end this way

obviously they needed her for the show to continue but does it not just make you feel like she should have just stayed dead then?

why keep us so invested in her and actually let us have hope that she'll get to be happy if it was always going to end the same

and you can't genuinely believe that she Will be happy all off on her own like that. her friends were so important to her despite how little we actually got to see of them recently. this season making them feel so disconnected, again, knowing this is where we were headed, is just so upsetting

and, again, i can't think about the hopper of it all. letting him and el build a life together and then having to see them both lose each other? having to watch him just accept that it's her choice after fighting her so hard on exactly that all season? god

el deserved so much better. she's more than just her powers, more than whatever she may represent to other people. she was doomed from the start. i'll never be over what they did to her

Well. Who had the formuladone revival on their 2025 bingo? Because I certainly didn't and I literally said in November 2024 that I was going to

I'm still finding my groove in making f1 gifs again, but I'm genuinely excited to be back at my roots. I'm going to rework the tagging system over the next few weeks and perhaps look at remaking some older gifs now I a) actually know what i'm going and b) am no longer restricted by a 5mb size limit

I used to keep my personal blog separate but that's not really a secret anymore. If anyone wants to talk other sports or just see me being insane about a British soap opera then I'm @santners

My plan is to start with F1 and slowly get back to other motorsports (mostly Formula E). As always, I love talking F1 and having opinions, discussions and asks always accepted and appreciated. I try to keep everything here neutral and have something for everyone. I think all fandoms need a quiet place without reactionary arguments

Once I get everything sorted and a routine set, I'll make a proper pinned post, but for now this will do.
