With my versions of kid Cortex and Brio being out there, I’ve been also asked about Ngin. In my hc I don’t see them meeting in school but sometime before events CB1 as adults, shortly after Cortex and Brio settled on the islands.

(It’s never easy for me to write in words, so I made a comic instead ahah)

So yeah my Ngin was a talented surfer who was just doing his phd in Australia (his country of origin is unknown but vaguely European) and he just got bored with his life. “The Engine” was his surfer name which he later adapted into Ngin to fit with his new pals

Often its portrayed that Nina has good relationship with Cortex or maybe some form of rivalry, I am more of a fan making her resent him and everything to do with world domination. She caught on that he cares about others only if they are useful for him.

How much I’ve missed this, so happy finishing somewhat of a comic page. But oh gawd this took me way longer than expected, csp speech balloon tools are a blessing and a curse.
