Yo. Have a mctoran revamp that I did in Stud.io. Commentary and blog update under the cut.

I’ve been on a Stud.io kick ever since I found out that the PartDesigner is a thing that exists a few days ago. (Because screw the system, I can do whatever I want now.) This build uses a few custom parts I whipped up in there, namely the feet, the bases of the hands, and a towball socket piece (you can’t see it, but I used it for neck articulation).

On another note, I think I’m gonna attempt (key word there) to do MOCtober this year. The thing that stopped me last year was a) being busy with school, b) having a very limited collection of parts to work with, and c) not knowing MOCtober was a thing until I saw someone else doing it. Now I’ve graduated, and although my part collection is still limited at the moment, I think my newfound love of Stud.io can help cover some of the gaps there.

Obviously I’m starting a few days late, but I think I’ll build the first moc tonight and post it tomorrow. I’m gonna try to alternate doing physical builds and doing digital builds in Stud.io. Also I’m at least gonna start out by going off of @mark-on-planet-mars‘s inktober prompt sheet. Might stick to it. Might not. We’ll see.
