His stage presence is unbelievable, genuinely Murph is my favourite intrepid hero because of how much he loves to perform.
It's like the stage fuels his essence, it's genuinely amazing.

So my mom is finally interested in dnd, I've never been more overjoyed, but the thing I like most about it is how it happened.
So I regularly rewatch Burrows end, it's one of the best DND anything I've ever watched or listened to. I absolutely love it, and one of the things I love most about it is how much of the cast are POC. I genuinely feel like their lived experiences deepened the family dynamics of the stoats in a lot of ways and was just really relatable to me, and apparently to my mother.
The fact that there were two black women in the room, and a black woman at the helm, immediately caught her attention. She literally sat down to watch because Rashawn's hair reminded her of me and she wanted to know more about her. I completely restarted the entire series and we binged the entire thing over the course of a week and at the end of she said she didn't realise that dnd could be a vehicle to tell stories so heartfelt. Or that there were so many of us(POC and especially black people) in the ttrpg community, it really kind of opened her eyes to what a roleplaying game like dnd can be and now she's really into it.
And now she's having me draft up a supernatural themed one shot for her, I'm planning on running it for her birthday, and I'm just really glad this happened. I'm really glad that she got to see herself and feel represented in a nerdy space like this, it's really beautiful.
This is why diversity and representation is so important, it really does open doors that were, or at least feel, previously closed. Like the only reason I even got into dnd is because I watched the premier of Burrows end on YouTube, watching Aabria DM genuinely felt life changing, it was everything to me and it still is.
I want to thank the people of colour in the ttrpg space, your presence and love of the game is so important. It is so special and so beautiful, and I love you all. Y'all are everything to me and I'm really grateful to be one of you🩷
I completely forgot that they're trying to make a Harry Potter show until I came across a post about it on someone's Insta stories (I no longer follow them), but it did send me to hater side of Reddit and I came across the funniest fucking repost from Twitter on there:
And they're right. That shit is going to look absolutely wild and all I can think is; why the hell are they doing this? Why are they re-remaking this series into a show? Not only is it guaranteed to be shit because there's an air of desperation just pouring off of it, but it's also just not worth existing let alone watching. They're trying to fucking reinvent the wheel here and it's ridiculous.
And all of that is on top of the fact that damn near every penny that show makes will be hand delivered to the systemic machine that's actively committing a genocide against the trans community. And I'm not being dramatic, they want to eradicate trans people from existence. That is their goal!
Do not fucking watch this show. Do not watch it.

Fr though I'm so glad that she exists. I remember being a kid in the 2010s and holding Clawdeen so close to my heart, she was, and is, everything to me but she was low-key the only option I had.
I never really got to choose, but now I have options, I don't have to pick the one black girl they usually add late, there are multiple types of black girls represented in these doll lines and I get to pick one that feels more true to me, it's beautiful.
It is so beautiful and there is a little black girl out there with a shelf's worth of black dolls that look like her and feel like her and she is happy, she is having fun and she got to choose from multiple options and it makes me tear up a little bit.

Fabian is the sweetest boy ever. He's gone to Gertie to hash it out so that she and Kristen can pursue whatever they have going on comfortably.
Fabian holds such a special place in my heart for being a fictional black boy that's just really sweet and flamboyant and kind of weird. He feels like a portrayal of parts of the black experience that you don't really get to see depicted in media much. I love him.

Every time she steps into the dome, the way it is used fundamentally changes. The fucking shadow projections has left me in awe of her creativity.
She has used every single resource available to tell such beautiful, powerful stories, in as many mediums as she could possibly do and it is... groundbreaking.
She had fundamentally changed this space, for the better and I genuinely think she is one of the greatest DM's, players, creators that I have ever seen. That has ever been.
