Erik Gesner Bf Headcanons Part 2 because i found people who actually like him

If you read my first post you know that i headcanon this silly guy as a fun boyfriend. You can never get bored with him.

You know that cringe thirst traps straight boys do on tiktok? He will mimic them to piss you off. Especially the ones "prolly not" and that guy with the white tank top getting arrested pov.

Hes one of those bfs that let you do anything to him. Pinching his cheeks aggressively? He doesnt even move. Using his back as a puching bag? He will take the opportunity to flex his back muscles he worked hard for. You put your feet on top of his head? He will make a joke about putting them in his mouth but if you ask him what he said, he will say that it stinks😿

I headcanon him around 195cm (6'5"). Did you see him next to Kaiser?? He's crazyyy tall. Anyways he thinks its cute when you're so tiny next to him and he thinks you are hot as hell if you're around his height (maybe even taller).

He has a thing for you when you play football. If you dont know how to play he would teach you for sure. Also he wants you to watch his practices because he wants you around 24/7

Makes you come to gym with him and makes you spot him. But its just an excuse to show off his big ass biceps. Calls you a pervert if he catches you staring but hes actually praying inside for you to look.

Hes mostly the big spoon while cuddling and he wraps his arm around your neck and his godly biceps are almost in your mouth. You can bite dont worry, he will let out the highest pitched scream ever but he enjoys it tbh

He also blocks and unfollows every girl the moment you ask. He has girl friends for sure but if you dont like them he will start to dislike them without even noticing.

"Saturdays are for the boys" shit doesn't even exist for him. His friends love you more than him😹😹

After he loses a match or wasnt happy with his performance; he will take a few hours for himself, taking a long shower (even if he already took one in the locker rooms), playing cod campaigns etc.. but he will always come to you in the end to snuggle against you like a cat.

I think his favorite game series are Call of Duty campaigns. Hes been playing them since he was a kid and honestly they are his comfort games. His favorite campaign is Cod: Ghosts (based tbh) and his favorite character is Hesh Walker. He thinks hes cool and underrated. He has a pc but mostly plays from his PS

Isnt really good with comforting you but he doesnt want to do nothing and be useless for you so he tries to make you laugh. If you were overthinking about some stupid thing you did he will tell you an even more stupid story of his so you will think that "damn i didnt even do anything embarrassing next to this" and laugh about it.

He snores so goddamn loud sorry...

And farts :/ but not in a nasty way more like funny, makes guess the noise his fart is gonna make😭

Hes an only child and he looks like his mother A LOT. His mother is chill most of the time but hes scared of her when shes serious, sometimes asks to sleep over at you because of it (loser). His father looks and acts cold but hes actually very caring but doesnt know how to show it, he got into arguments with his father when he was younger but the more he got older he started to understand him.

His room is not messy like you would expect because he got a slipper print in his ass as a teen because he didnt want to clean his room. He even cleans your room so your parents dont get mad at you.

He tries to make a good first impression to your parents but gets caught stealing a kiss from you when he thinks they arent looking😹 Also says "skibidi toilet rizz" to your younger siblings☹️

He doesnt know any makeup names but if you show him a mascara he will brush his eyelashes and tell you its the "eyelash brush"

And doesnt know about makeup prices so if you take him on cosmetic shopping hes looking around like🤯 but he pays for them in the end lol

Lets you apply makeup on him. This guy is very confident in his masculinity and doesnt care if he does something "feminine". The only thing he doesnt want is lashes because hes scared of them.

He will get your initials in his undercut without you needing to ask😽 AND SHOWS IT IF OTHER GIRLS TRIES TO FLIRT WITH HIM😻

I know this guy got a lot of girls he slept with from the parties the team went to after winning matches. If you say A SINGLE THING about being jealous, he will write a 15 page apology and read to you. And hes serious⚠️

Also plays brawl stars with his teammates idk i had to add this. He plays with Ali most of the time in the locker rooms.

Sooo...I'm writing a fic in based in the prison world (YES WITH KAI PARKER< ARE WE EVEN SUPRISED??)

The water is too blue. Chlorine-sharp, untouched. You sit at the edge of the pool with your feet in, jeans rolled to the knee, shirt damp from where he grabbed you earlier. Kai floats on his back, eyes closed, arms spread like he’s pretending this is peace.

“You’re quiet,” he says, not opening his eyes.

You watch a leaf drift past him. “There’s no one to talk to.”

He laughs, the sound echoes, hollow in the empty world. “You could talk to me.”

You don’t answer. You just stare at the water and wonder how long it would take to drown.

I miss Mom

Summary: Contains spoilers from 1201. My very short take on a sweet moment between Adam and Makayla while Kim is still away.

It had been a rough 48 hours for Adam, having lost his friend and having to power through without the physical presence of Kim being there with him. Sure they've talked on the phone, but it just wasn't the same without her there, without her comforting touch.

He was running on zero sleep after tracking down the shooter, but he was putting on a strong front and pushing through for Makayla. But tonight, he let himself feel all of the emotions. The anger, the sadness, and even the guilt because after all he was responsible for Emily joining Intelligence. Maybe the cold air out on the porch around 1AM would help unnumb how he’d been feeling or pull him out of this terrible nightmare.

Makayla must have been having a bad night too as she was struggling to sleep through the night and eventually woke up after a terrible dream. She walked around the house, struggling to find Adam, until she noticed only the screen door closed to the back porch.

She must have made a noise as it brought Adam out of his trance. He straightened up, placed his beer on the porch, and wiped the tears from his eyes before turning to face his daughter.

“Bumblebee, what are you doing up?,” he asked.

“I had a bad dream and I miss mom. What are you doing out here?” She opened the door and joined him out on the porch.

“Just thinking, but I miss your mom too.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, you have no idea how much. Come here.” Makayla went and sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around him in a big hug. She had no idea how much her dad needed that hug at the moment.

Mack pulled her head back and looked Adam in the eye, "were you crying? What happened at work?"

Adam let out a soft chuckle. “I can't get nothing past you, can I kiddo? You definitely take after your mother in that regard.” Makayla smiled at the mention of Kim. “So do you remember my friend Emily?” Makayla nodded as Adam proceeded to tell her the kid-friendly version of what happened in the past day and a half as they both fell asleep out on the porch on their last night without Kim home.

Adam sat in the driveway for however long he needed to ensure that every last drop of blood was washed off in his shower at the district and his eyes were no longer red.

He called Kim on his way home, but he could not let their daughter see a trace of blood on him or that he had been crying. It reminded him a lot of the night when Kim was missing and he left the search to be with Makayla. But this time was different - he was her dad now and his friend was not still alive out there somewhere.

As soon as his Jeep door slammed, he could hear Makayla yell out, “Dad, you’re home!” She greeted him with a huge hug as he walked into the kitchen and he almost broke down again right there on the spot, but he stood strong.

“Hi bumblebee, how was school? I talked to Mom on my way home and she’s so excited to come home on Friday.”

“Yay, I miss her! It was good. I have a lot of homework to do tonight though.” Adam sighed at the mention of homework as that was the last thing he wanted to do tonight.

“I tried to help her with some of it, Adam, but we ran out of time.”

“No worries, Lindsay. Thank you for picking her up from school. We’ll see you tomorrow, right?”

“Yes, I’ll pick her up tomorrow and take her to dance practice. Bye Makayla.”

Makayla hugged her babysitter goodbye and continued talking her dad’s ear off about her homework and the school day. Adam felt bad as he was only half listening, but he was still trying to process the events of the day.

“Hey Mack, what do you want to order for dinner?”

“Ummmm.” Before she could even offer an answer, there was a doorbell ring.

“Mack, you didn’t invite any friends over today at school, right?” Entertaining was not something Adam wanted to do tonight at all.

“No, I promise.” She ran to the door and looked at the camera to see who it was. “UNCLE Kevin and Torrrrrrres!!!” (She had been taking Spanish at school and loved to practice rolling her “r”s.) She opened the door with Adam standing behind her and gave both of their visitors a hug. “I guess we’re having pizza, Dad.”

With a puzzled look on his face, Adam asked “what are you guys doing here” and finally noticed that Dante was holding a huge box of pizza. Makayla led him into the kitchen, so he could place the pizza down.

Kevin hung back by the door and gave his best friend a hug and quietly answered, “Bro, we couldn’t let you handle this night alone. It’s been a tough day for all of us, but yours doesn’t stop when you get home. Plus I needed to see my little queen.”

“Thanks man, I really appreciate it. But now that you’re here, I’m gonna need you to help Mack with her English homework please. That’s usually Kim’s department.”

“I got you,” Kevin replied as he smiled and they joined Makayla and Dante at the table to eat.

The night was full of cheesy pizza, a game or two of Twister, and lots of laughter - a sound they hadn’t heard in hours. And they even managed to finish all of Makayla’s homework. It was not how any of them expected their night to end after wrapping up the first case this morning, but after the events of the day unfolded, it was exactly what they all needed.

"Hey, any news yet?" Kim asked Trudy on the phone while Hailey drove her back to the hospital.

"Nothing yet. Did you find Callum?"

Just hearing his name caused so much pain as he was the reason she was a nervous wreck right now, waiting on news to see if Adam was even going to make it through surgery. "Yeah and as much as it hurt me, I kept him and Samantha safe just like I promised. Voight is taking them back to the district right now and Richard is dead. Hailey and I are on our way over."

Hailey dropped Kim off at the hospital’s main entrance and she ran towards the waiting room. Trudy was standing in the exact same place that she left her in. The woman had a hard exterior, but deep down she cared about her officers and she was never going to abandon one of her own at a time like this.

"Anything?” Kim anxiously asked as she tried to catch her breath.

"Still nothing. I know you know how stubborn Adam is and with how much he loves you and Makayla, he’s going to fight like hell.”

"I know, I know." Kim answered quietly as tears started to fall from her face.

It had been a few more hours and after Voight and Kevin both arrived to join the crowd in the waiting room before Adam’s doctor emerged from the blank doors Kim had been staring at nonstop. It was almost as if she couldn’t believe her eyes, but Kevin softly nudged her, solidifying that it was actually real.

"Kev, he's going to make it right? I can’t…"

Kevin cut her off before she could finish, "Burgess don’t even finish that sentence. That boy has been in love with you almost since the first day you met so there ain't no way his stubborn ass is going to go out that easily." She gave him a friendly jab with her elbow, but she had to admit that he was right.

“His partner, right?” the doctor pointed towards Kim.

She wanted to answer with the truth that they were so much more than that, but now was not the time for her to confess everything about her and Adam’s relationship and how they were back together. She stood up and muttered “yes,” and everyone in the room could hear how nervous she was. “How is he?”

“Officer Ruzek is out of surgery and I believe he’ll make a full recovery. He lost a lot of blood, but he made it here quickly and no major organs were hit. He does have a few bruised ribs and that will honestly probably be causing most of his pain.”

Kim let out the breath she didn’t realize she was holding ever since the doctor appeared. "Oh thank goodness. Can I see him?"

“Yes, but he’s not fully awake right now and once he is, he still might go in and out of sleep for a few hours.” Kim nodded and the doctor had a nurse lead her up to his room.

She peered through the window outside of his room, trying to grasp what was going on. She walked in and moved the chair over quietly to his bed and thought to herself - how in the world did he do this so many times while she was on the other end. Adam woke up a few times throughout the night and she got to see his big brown eyes, but nothing longer than a minute or two.

Not really sure at how much time had passed since she fell asleep with her head on his bed, she felt Adam stirring and looked up to see him opening his eyes. He immediately reached for the breathing tube and Kim put her hand up to stop him.

"Hey sleepyhead."

Adam attempted to smile, but then realized that caused too much pain and just grumbled out a “hi” instead.

“How are you feeling?”

“Like shit. I’ve been better. How's Mack?"

"She's good, I haven't told her anything about you yet though. Trudy's with her now."

"Oh those two will get into a lot of trouble. And you?” He reached out to place his hand on top of hers.

"Adam," she responded, shaking her head at him asking her this while he was just shot and lying in a hospital bed.

"Kim. I'm fine, I’m alive. How are you doing?"

"I'm better now, but I was scared out of my mind. I don't know how you've been able to be on this side of things so many times before and kept it together." He attempted to reach out to her cheek to wipe the tears away that started rolling down her face, but the stretching aggravated his ribs too much.

"Well I don't know if anyone would say I kept it together,” Adam answered while Kim let out a small giggle after a very tough day. "But I did it because I love you," he finished.

Without any hesitation, Kim responded, "I love you too. But we really need to stop meeting each other in the hospital." She reached up and kissed his forehead.

“Deal.” A few moments of silence had passed before Adam tightened his grip on Kim’s hand. “Hey, I'm sorry.”

“What, why are you sorry? You were just doing your job, Adam, and something unfortunate happened that was completely not your fault.”

“I know, but I never should have put you through that while you're still processing your own trauma.”

She placed her other hand on top of his. “We got through that and we'll get through this too…together.”

Adam forced a smile through the pain and repeated “together.”

This Time is Different

Summary: My version of the morning after 1017. Rated T just in case.

Note: I had no plans to turn my idea into a fic until @piscesgirl87 volunteered me to write a fic, so here we are lol. I think this is the fastest I've ever written something.

Their clothes were still scattered on the bedroom floor with pieces of a broken lamp and teacup all over the living room floor as the sun began to peek through the window. “Well this is a welcomed sight,” Adam mumbled as he woke up with his arm still wrapped around Kim as she was tracing her fingers lightly across his chest.

She looked up from the spot her head was cradled in under his head and smiled. “What do you mean?”

“Usually you're out of my arms in the morning before I even wake up, but I like this version much better.”

“This time is different. What time do you have to check in with Sam again?”

Adam rubbed his eyes and answered, “not until around 3, but I was planning on going back to my UC apartment around lunch time. I can probably push it back a little longer though just to spend more time with you and Mack.”

Kim shook her head. “No, Adam, you have to stick to the plan just in case. You can’t get made. Plus we have the rest of our lives to spend together.” She dropped that last sentence so casually like it was nothing, but it made Adam shoot up to sit against the pillow behind his head. “What did you just say?”

“I told you this time was different. I know we have a lot still to talk about, but I’m done being scared with you. She leaned up to kiss him again until he pulled away.

“Hey, can we get something to eat first? I'm a little hungry.” Kim agreed and threw on Adam's flannel over her underwear and headed out to the kitchen. Adam stepped up behind her with just his boxers on and wrapped his arms around her waist as she got a pot of coffee started and rested his head on her shoulder while softly kissing the spot on her neck that she loved so much.

They were interrupted by a knock on the door. “Adam, what time is it?”

He leaned back to look at the clock and replied, “9 o’clock on the dot, why?”

Kim immediately started panicking. “Oh shoot, Amanda's mom said she was dropping Mack off at 9. I…we must have lost track of time.” Adam began laughing and couldn’t control himself. “Adam, this isn't a laughing matter. Our daughter is standing outside of our house right now and we're standing in the kitchen half naked and the living room and my bedroom are a mess.”

A knock came again. “Well you have more clothes on than me,” he proclaimed while still finding their current situation amusing. “Plus all of my clothes are upstairs.” Kim ran into her bedroom and threw his jeans from last night at him.

“Here. At least you'll have pants on.”

“Darlin’, I can't answer the door shirtless in front of a parent from school.”

Kim put her hands on his chest as she started to push him backwards, rotating him to face the front door, and eventually moving her hands to his butt to scoot him towards the door. “It's okay, trust me. All of the moms at school already have a thing for you anyways,” she revealed with a wink. “Now just distract them for like two minutes while I clean this mess up.”

Adam opens the door to see Makayla, Amanda, and Amanda’s mom standing on the front porch. “Hi Adam!”

“Hi Mack, did you have fun?” Mack nods and tries to run through the door, but Adam bends down to stop her. “Hey now, make sure you thank Amanda and her mom for having you sleep over."

“Thank you, see you at school on Monday," Makayla yelled as she waved to her friend and eventually pushed past Adam. “Mom, I'm home.”

“Hey bud,” Kim answered just as she was finishing shutting the door to her bedroom where she hid the mess with a robe on, replacing Adam's flannel she was wearing earlier. Adam turned the corner, afraid to see if Kim had enough time to clean up the mess and he had to admit she did a pretty good job. That was until Makayla asked, "what happened to the lamp that was here?"

Adam stood behind Mack in silence as he threw his hand over his mouth while Kim fumbled with an answer to her question. “I…I felt we had too many lamps in this room, so I put it away for now.” They both sighed in relief to have avoided that close call.

Makayla turned around and now inquired, “Adam, why do you have on the same jeans that you did when you dropped me off at school yesterday?” Adam was pretty sure his jaw was on the ground and now it was Kim's turn to start giggling as Adam tried to weasel his way out of this one.

“I will have you know, little one, that I have many pairs of black jeans that all look the same.” He wasn’t exactly lying as his closet did exist of a handful of black jeans, but she was right about this pair. It was like they were misbehaving teenagers again getting caught by their parents. It probably shouldn't have caught them so off guard that their daughter being raised by two cops in an elite unit would be so observant but here they were.

Do You Love Him?

Summary: Torres helps Kim realize her feelings for Adam.

[This was inspired by the behind the scenes photo of Marina and Benjamin partnering up last fall and I just now finished that draft.]

The unit had been taking turns partnering up with Torres in his first official week as a member of Intelligence and today was Kim’s turn. She didn’t know too much about him yet, but she figured it would be a quiet uneventful day in the car with him. She usually has to deal with Adam singing along to every song on the radio or Kevin rambling on about all of his tenants’ issues, so she was perfectly okay with quiet today. Especially after the morning she had when her and Adam got into a minor argument that escalated after a disagreement about what new refrigerator they wanted to buy.

"Hey, I know it's none of my business, but is that your daughter in the picture on your desk?" Dante asked shyly.

"Yeah, her name's Makayla. She's eight."

“She looks well loved and happy in that picture.”

“She is, thanks.” Kim loved talking about her daughter, but didn’t envision where this conversation would go next.

"You and Ruzek…right?" Dante asked, unaware of their entire situation and backstory.

Kim paused a little before answering, wondering how he placed her and Adam together. He probably noticed them arriving and leaving work with each other or maybe Kevin filled him in or so she thought. "Yeah, we both found her wandering on the street and then Intelligence investigated the murders of her mother, grandmother, and uncle. I fostered her for a bit and then earlier this year, I fully adopted her. But Adam's been there every step of the way and we moved into his dad's old house together a few weeks ago."

"How long have you two been together?"

This really was turning into a not so quiet car ride as Kim expected. "We actually aren’t anything right now, but it's complicated…off and on for almost ten years."

"Do you love him?"

Kim was completely caught off guard and yet didn’t hesitate with her answer, "Yeah, but we..."

"Then it's not complicated at all,” he responded point-blank after cutting her off.

Kim couldn’t muster a response as she was wondering how this guy, practically a kid, that she just met pretty much solved her relationship with Adam in five minutes.

He followed up with another hard hitting question. “Does Ruzek know that you love him?”

Kim drove in silence pondering everything Dante had said to her until a call came over their radios.

“5021 Ida, suspect fleeing down the fire escape.”

“That's Adam!” Kim sped up a bit and drove to where Adam and Kevin were on surveillance. As they pull up, she sees Adam walking with blood seeping through his jeans on his left leg. She barely puts the car in park before she jumps out and runs over to him. “Adam oh my gosh, are you okay? Where are you hurt?”

He puts up his hand to attempt to calm her down. “Kim, I'm fine. I just scraped up my knee chasing this son of a bitch because my damn shoe came untied.” Kevin was chuckling over under the tree where he had the man in handcuffs.

“Oh thank goodness, I was so worried when I saw the blood.”

“I’m okay, I'm perfectly fine.” Adam was still not understanding the sudden freak out as there was very minimal blood. “What's going on with you? I thought you didn’t want anything to do with me today after the ride into work this morning.”

“I’m sorry about that. I just…I love you.” She didn’t envision telling him that today when she woke up and after their argument, but Torres gave her some clarity in the car.

Adam smiled, still confused and reached for her hand, not wanting to cause a scene since they were still on duty. "I love you too, but where's this coming from?"

“I was talking to Torres earlier and he said something that really struck me and I had to not put it off anymore and just say it.” Adam and Kim both flashed a smile in Dante’s direction.

"Well he's a very smart guy if I do say so myself," Adam answered.

Torres and Atwater were standing off to the side by their cars, watching this exchange. "Man, what did you say to Burgess? I've been trying to get those two crazy kids back together for years and you’re here for what? A week?"

Dante laughed, "I just told her if she really loved him, there was nothing complicated about it."

Kevin held out his hand for a fist bump, “you did good, Rookie."

When Does it Stop Hurting

Summary: A “what if” Kim didn’t shut Adam out after the miscarriage.

Note: I originally drafted this back in January and just getting around to finishing it now.

It had been exactly twenty four hours since Kim found out that she had a miscarriage and lost the baby she was so excited about having. She was sitting alone in her dark empty apartment watching mindless TV. All she wanted to do was distract herself with work like she'd always done, but Voight forced her to take a week off. She kept reaching her hand down to rub her stomach where a small bump would have soon been growing, but now it was just a reminder of what she lost. Her phone was buzzing with texts from everyone making sure she was okay, but she only wanted to hear from one person - the guy who had been with her every step of the pregnancy after she let him in. But she told him that she needed some space earlier that morning, so it made perfect sense why Adam wasn't reaching out tonight as he was just following her wishes.

Kim decided to try and get some sleep since she had slept maybe only two hours total after finding out the news that left her heart broken. After tossing and turning and having flashbacks to those few minutes in the motel each time she closed her eyes, she decided to text the one person who she knew would make her feel better and who knew exactly what she was going through.

Hey. Can we talk?

Her phone never buzzed with a response, so she assumed Adam was at work, asleep, or just ignoring her. But within five minutes, she heard a knock on her door. Did he speed over here, she thought. Adam's apartment was at least ten minutes away on a good day with no traffic. But the fact that she didn't even need to ask him to come over and he knew exactly what she needed warmed her heart for the first time today.

Kim opened the door. "Hi," he said softly. "I know you said you needed space, but your text…I hope it's okay I came over." She nodded and moved aside so he could enter her apartment.

“How are you doing? Be honest with me Kim.”

She tried to keep it together and opened her mouth to speak, but took a breath and sighed. Adam moved closer to her to wrap his arms around her and Kim just broke down in his embrace. She was pretty sure she would've fallen to the ground if he wasn't holding her up. In between her sobs, Adam just kept rubbing her back and repeating "I'm here" until she gained some strength to stand up on her own.

Kim spoke for the first time since he arrived, "I know…thank you." She motioned for him to sit on the couch as she went to the bathroom and splashed some water on her face. As she returned to the couch, she sat down next to Adam. "I'm sorry for that. I know you just lost a kid too."

"Kim, don't apologize. We'll get through this together."

She couldn't bring herself to look at him as she was pretty sure she'd start crying again, so she was staring off into space until she asked a question she'd been asking herself ever since she talked to the doctor. "When does it stop hurting? You know, at first I didn't even want this baby and now I'm crying over losing them on my couch. Maybe it's what I deserve."

The tears started falling again and Adam reached his hand up to wipe them from her cheek. "Kim, look at me. Nobody deserves to lose a baby, especially not someone as caring and incredible as you." Turning to look at him, she thought he always knew just the right thing to say to make her feel better.

"And it's going to hurt, especially right now, but we can get through this together. What can I do to help?"

"Can you just stay here tonight and hold me and tell me everything will be okay? I always feel better in your arms."

"Of course I can darlin'. But first, let me make you something to eat because I'm pretty sure you haven't eaten anything all day."

"I could go for some of your famous french toast," she answered with a slight smile on her face that resulted in Adam smiling too. It was the first time either of them had smiled since they found out the baby was gone.

"French toast it is." Adam jumped up and headed for the kitchen to gather the ingredients for his french toast.

Kim followed him and moved to sit at the kitchen table. "You know I was really looking forward to watching you become a dad."

"I know you would've been an incredible mom."

Kim replied back trying to sound as hopeful as she could after suffering a miscarriage, "maybe we'll get another chance someday."
