yall... so i occasionally end up on aot tiktok right, the tiktoks themselves are usually pretty good, esp the stuff ive been seeing about chapter 139, very cool analysis and such, but then the comments sometimes 🥲🥲 mfs hating on the aot ending being like “it was way too happy and so rushed with so many plot holes and i didnt get answers to the bazillion of the questions i still had” then the unanswered question is something so absolutely stupid that you would literally understand just by reading the chapters a little more carefully, i dont wanna put any spoilers here but like yo maybe if you read the manga more thoroughly? idk just maybe learn to consume a work of fiction without the author having to break every small detail down for yall so your tiny brains can grasp it? like bro if yall had actual deep questions left unanswered for yall id understand but so far i havent encountered anyone that brought up something truly valid but pls feel free to lmk if you do maybe? id be super interested in their take. anyways idk like im personally very content with the ending, would i like just a tad more angst? maybe, but the tragedy, the hopeful-ish tone ending, idk this ending felt very poetic to me and very fitting to the tone of the show as a whole. people just put such high expectations on isayama (and creators in general) waiting for him and his big brain to give us a never been done before mind blowing ending, like???? its yalls fault if you overhyped it so much for yourselves that it felt underwhelming lmao
