Okay so imagine Young Justice getting kidnapped and tied up. The kidnappers have a livestream set up and the JL is on their way, BUT it's very time sensitive because the team has been injected with truth serum. The kidnappers are toying with them, asking stupid and embarrassing questions.
Eventually they get to Tim and ask "What's your most shameful sex story?"
And dearest Timmy, despite himself, says, "One time Lex Luthor came to Gotham and got hit with sex pollen, but it was such a small amount that he was fine after I blew him." Everyone, especially Kon, is looking at him as if he's insane, but he continues. "So after that he said I gave really good head so he gave me his personal number, and now we hook up like once a month, and I'm really sorry, Kon, you were never supposed to find out..."
This, obviously, stuns not only his friend but the kidnappers, the JL, and everyone watching the livestream. They do get rescued eventually and no one is looking Tim in the eye. The internet is blowing up because what do you mean Lex Luthor is sleeping with Robin?
Lex statements about the situation basically boil down to "There are bigger things to worry about than who I sleep with."
