Dennis who locks Robby out of the house when he’s mad <3
They have some petty argument (that Dennis started cuz he was feeling…bratty) while they’re out and about. As soon as Robby pulls into the driveway Dennis is out of the car before it’s even in park. He bolts into the house with no other word and slams the door before Robby can even make it to the porch.
Robby goes to turn the handle when he finally makes it up to the house just to find it stuck in place. He sighs and rolls his eyes as he bangs on the door.
“Dennis,” he groans. “Let me in the house.”
“No!” He hears.
“Baby, please. I got the key anyway, don’t make this hard for me.”
“Just go somewhere else, I’m sure one of the other hundred of people you’ve slept with will take you in!”
“That was twenty-five years ago and it wasn’t hundreds!”
“It was enough!”
Robby goes to speak again but hears the tell-tale sign of the creaking floors and then a door slam in the distance. He nearly grabs his keys out of his pocket to open the door to let himself in, but just at the last minute an idea pops into his head.
He pulls out his phone instead, types out a message, and sends it before placing it back into his pocket and making his way over to the wicker furniture on the porch.
Twenty minutes go by before a familiar truck pulls into the driveway and shuts off, the door slamming shut as the agitated owner walks up.
“Hey, Jack.” Robby says as the man walks up to him. Before he was even able to say anything else, Jack cuts him off.
“Is the brat inside?”
Robby just nods and stands up, grabbing his keys to finally unlock the door. The two men walk in quietly, shuffling over anything that would make noise. Robby lets Jack take the lead as he follows him to the bedroom they’d both spent plenty of time together in.
Jack opens up the door trying his best to avoid a creak, but the old doors could only do so much. They observed the lump of boy in the bed, covers pulled up and over him as he laid limp on Robby’s side.
Jack crept in, purposely stepping on the wobbly board. Dennis heard the shift in wood and without even looking up said, “You finally decided to come and apologize to me?”
Jack scoffed as Robby let out a noise of disbelief. The two voices seemed to get Dennis’ attention and he craned his neck, eyes going wide as he saw the two men in front of him.
“Jack, what are you doing-“
“You know, your daddy here called me for some help, sayin’ how disrespectful his boy was being. Not that I didn’t believe him but I just had to see what he was handling with my own two eyes.”
And as Jack was walking over to othe bed, Dennis went to fully turn his body to sit up. Jack was quicker.
He had the back of Dennis’ neck in his hand in a second and used the force to turn him back to his front. He threw Dennis’ phone out of his hand and onto the bedside table with a clank, straddling the back of Dennis and using his good leg to dig into the mattress for stability.
Jack removed his hand from his neck and grabbed the curls at the base of his head. He tightened his grip on them and pulled his head up so dennis was eye level with Jacks face.
“Now, I don’t want to have to help but i absolutely will- you’re gonna tell your daddy sorry for treatin’ him like that, right?”
Jack really didn’t even give him time to nod on his own and swiped his autonomy right from under him, using the grip he had on his hair to do it for him. Jack shushed Dennis’ pathetic yelp of pain and moved their bodies so Dennis was facing Robby.
“Say it, pup. Tell your daddy sorry,”
“Sorry, daddy,” Dennis mumbled
“Louder, dog.”
“I’m sorry, daddy!”
Jack looked up to Robby who was standing over them now with his arms crossed, watching his nod of approval. Jack nodded back in response and shoved Dennis’ head back into the bed, holding it down for a few seconds as good measure
“Good,” Jack said. He clambered off of the bed and stood next to Robby as they watch the boy lay helpless under them.
“Now, let’s see how else that pretty little mouth can apologize to us,”
