°AUideas is Looking for New Admins!°

The relaunch of AUideas brought a new theme, a new schedule, new content, and potentially, a new team behind the scenes. If you like what we’ve been doing and you're a lover of Tumblr & writing with time to spare, then we definitely need you.

We're looking for 1-2 Admins and 1-2 Assistant Admins to join the team; their responsibilities / requirements are as follows:

Admins:

Requirements:

Very familiar with Tumblr, Discord, Google Docs, & the AUideas Community

Experience running a community with more than 500 members (designated platform doesn't have to be Tumblr)

Possess a love for writing, ideation, and prompt development that extends past your peers

Represent and embody the AUideas values of healthy writing habits, respectful practices, and non-taboo topics

Have the ability to speak English as either a native or fluent language

Responsibilities:

~5 hour commitment every week

Attend a group Discord call (or calls) on a weekly basis

Aid Admin M in the blog's general upkeep when necessary (theme coding, Tag Archive Masterlist updates, creation of core posts [Ask the Admins, Announcements, etc.], managing scheduling & the AUideas queue)

Create at least 2 stand alone prompts, 1 Never Book Quote, & 1 AU Friday List post per week

Assistant Admins:

Requirements:

Familiarity with Tumblr, Discord, Google Docs, & the AUideas Community

Experience running your own social media platform consistently with original content for at least 2 months (designated platform doesn't have to be Tumblr)

Possess a love for writing, ideation, and prompt development that extends past your peers

Represent and embody the AUideas values of healthy writing habits, respectful practices, and non-taboo topics

Have the ability to speak English as either a native or fluent language

Responsibilities:

~2-3 hour commitment every week

Attend a group Discord call on a weekly basis

Create at least 2 stand alone prompts, 1 Never Book Quote, & 1 AU Friday List post per week

IF YOU HAVE SENT AN ASK AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO ANSWERING, it's because I'm thinking about the best way to answer, or I want to do something more than just a block of text in response (Be it writing or art) I read all the asks I get, always!

But aside from that PSA, you guys are the ones that drive the stories! You give so many good ideas and make me think about small things that don't even occur to me when I'm brainstorming by myself.

Like the whole "Why would the Overlord target Cole?"

Initially, that art was just because I wanted to! 😂 I wanted to draw the angst and there wasn't much make or model to it, but then I got asked about it and then I was provided with that sick ass idea of merging Ninjago and the Dark Island, the rest is history!

You guys run the stories here, I just bring what you envision to life 🤣

Hexblade Patron Help?

Anyone have any ideas for a unique Hexblade patron? I unfortunately don’t know much about the character yet, but he comes from a place that’s very black-and-white: monsters are bad, people are better. There is no gray, no in-between.

As such, when the PC found out his father was dabbling in some darker magics, he killed him.

I was thinking of having the deceased father be his patron, but I wanted to ask you guys what you thought. ^^

 PS; guys, I just had a thought. What if one of the members of Vox Machina was the patron? My players haven’t seen Critical Role, so they’d have no idea. Doesn’t even have to be Vox Machina, but really anyone in Critical Role would do.

Lucifer is literally the angel of experience

The light that reveals to us the path to the New Age ‘Christ’ comes from Lucifer. He is the light giver. It is his light that heralds for man the dawn of greater consciousness. The true light of this great being can only be recognized when one’s own eyes see with the light of the inner sun.It is an invitation into the New Age.

Dear Charlie,

I’m so sorry, I think I’m bad again. I never learn, Charlie, why can’t I love myself? What made me hate myself so much? I feel like shit. I feel like whatever I do, say or think is wrong. I’m about to lose hope, you know, maybe people can’t change and if I hated myself for 8 years I will hate myself until I die. No one has ever truly loved me, is it because I can’t love myself? I’m not even brave enough to kill myself, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I can’t get anything done right. It’s Monday and I want it to be Friday already just to get drunk and forget that I have to deal with my feelings. Everytime I wake up my bad thoughts hit me. I’m sorry for my friends because they also have to deal with this part of me. Anyway I don’t really tell them how I feel because they will think I’m crazy and never talk to me again, so I just pretend I’m okay all the time, which is also killing me inside but I don’t care ‘cause I’m already hurt. I don’t know what can I do.
