Hello everyone,

This post is just to summarise the announcement we made through the discord server last night for anyone who might be interested in applying.

Some of the recent changes we've made to the group are as follows:

We've removed pre-made skeletons and are offering OC slots with designated occupations instead. This allows for more writer creativity and involvement with the character. Some occupations may have certain requirements (age, ethnicity, gender), but most of them will be entirely UTP.

Our activity check will be held every 2 weeks on Saturdays, with the new requirements asking for 3 posts per character within that timespan.

The application process has also changed. We now ask applicants to submit a short biography for their character, as well as to answer a short in-character interview.

Following these changes, we will be opening up applications again starting Monday, April 15th. We're excited to be welcoming new people to London Falling again very soon, and hope that these changes will have a positive influence over the group.

To our current members, thank you once again for your patience and dedication to your characters. LF wouldn't be what it is without you.

Hi everyone,

Happy Easter!

Following the survey we sent out and the answers we received (thank you to those of you who have taken time to fill in the questions, we're really glad), we have a few small announcements to make concerning the group.

Firstly, we're closing applications for the next two weekends. We need to overhaul some of the existing skeletons and make some changes to characters that are in play.

Secondly, we're instating a temporary ban on FCs that are either white, Turkish, or non-actors. We really want this group to be as diverse and inclusive as possible, and while we've been a little lax on enforcing this rule so far, we're going to do a better job at paying attention to it.

We're also going to overhaul the plot and application pages, add a timeline page, and patch up a few other things to make sure the group runs smoothly.

Any applications received this weekend will still be accepted.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let us know! The feedback form for members is still open and available in the server, and we'd love to hear from more of you on how we can make LF better.

Hope you're all doing well. Some administrative details: as you've noticed we have a pretty extensive unfollow list this week, which is a shame, but we soldier on. What that means is that quite a few skeletons and FCs will open up again, so if you're thinking of applying for a further character, do go check them out.

Secondly, we're opening OC applications for all groups, so if you have an idea for an OC you can bring them in regardless of their association!

Lastly, our first event will be dropping very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. If you have any questions about anything or are unsure whether you'd like to join the group, do feel free to message us here or on discord!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Just a wee reminder for the upcoming TMI Tuesday: please do your best to send out asks to all characters whose ask box links have been posted, not just the characters you're currently plotting with. We want this to be a fun activity for everyone, not just a select few, so we'd really appreciate it if you could spread your asks evenly across the board!

Furthermore, to anyone looking to apply with an OC: we've put a hold on all Jabberwock, Jolly Roger, and civilian OCs for the time being. You can still bring in a media, government, or law enforcement OCs - we'll definitely open slots again once the other groups have a few more players.

Additionally: If you have ideas for skeletons or characters you'd like to see but don't have the time to write, feel free to let us know!

Welcome to all our new members joining this cycle, it's very exciting to have you. If you haven't yet joined our discord server you can do so HERE. It isn't mandatory but we strongly recommend you join as it's where most of our OOC socialising takes place.

On an administrative note, the Wheel of Fortune skeleton and Elizabeth Debicki are no longer on reservation and are open to be applied for. Please also remember to DM us/send an ask with the link to your new character blog so we can set up an official follow post.
