vending my feelings
koko was a crybaby, you didn’t even have to know him that well to know that. koko was very emotional, struggling quite a bit with regulating his feelings. his mom always said it was “cute”, but for koko it generally makes it even more difficult to make friends. it’s a bit lonesome at legacy so far, he hasn’t really been very good at making friends (but he hasn’t ever), besides his roommate, koko almost hangs out with nobody. when the others took a break from practice, they all found someone to talk to, koko sat alone in the corner. to get away from the feeling of loneliness, he knew what would cheer him up: snacks.
so he went out of the practice room, over to the vending machine, excitedly picking out which snack he wanted to eat, paid, and then it went wrong. he waits for a bit, maybe it’s just slower than usually, nope, nothing happens. he tries tapping on the glass, not that that does anything. he stares at the snack that was supposed to be his, and before he knows it, tears are rolling down his cheeks, he could really use that snack right now.
