just a location and time a starter for @lgcminki

honestly, iseul doesn't know why he's so impulsive sometimes. but he can't help it when he wants to see people. maybe he should consider everyone's schedule more, or whatever, but he has a sudden urge to see minki and nothing can quell it. not even the facetime call they had had a few days ago had scratched the itch, so to say, and he knew that he needed to see his friend in person.

he's pretty sure his withdrawals had started because of the whole nknd/team unknown split considering that they didn’t see each other much during training anymore. if at all, in general.

it’s kinda depressing, considering he used to see minki everyday. so, he decides it’s time for him to take matters into his own hands. late night snacks were always good right? especially if they were in a legacy practice room.

There was a time in Byeongkwan's not so distant past when he would have considered himself quite the content creator. While his peers were busy preparing for entrance exams, Byeongkwan and his small group of friends spent most of their time goofing off behind the school, filming their various antics and random cyphers ( if you could even call their nonsense ramblings back then such a thing ). Signing with Legacy years later, however, brought that fun train to a screeching halt.

But recording content for USGEN platforms fills him with an odd sense of deja vu and a rush of energy. Something about finally getting to be himself for an audience, even in short form, gives Byeongkwan a sense of normalcy. He's focused on the camera lens, awaiting Minki's cue to start a friendly game of red light, green light. "You're going down, dude," he grins at Haneul, crouching into a starting stance. With his height advantage and 'cat-like reflexes,' there's no way he wouldn't come out on top, avoiding the penalty that awaited them at their next concert stop. Not that he particularly minded the idea of doing something silly on stage - that competitive streak of his just wouldn't let him back down from a challenge.

he checks around him quickly, letting out a small sigh of relief when no one is looking at him suspiciously or anything. the biggest perk of the weather getting colder was that more and more people were donning masks and scarves and big jackets, so he didn't stand out too much anymore.

"i think dispatch would have a field day if we were caught inside of the store," jiho says quietly to minki, nudging his friend in slight amusement. they had bonded over plushies way back when, as well as taking their first flight together, so he couldn't think of anyone else that would be more fitting for this outing. it's kind of a stupid mission he had given himself, but once the idea had gotten into his mind, he couldn't shake it until now, on a day off, that he had dragged minki with him to go to the idol doll clothing store.

"there's two in hongdae, so i guess we can check both of them out," he says as they take the elevator up to the 3rd floor, and he feels just a little embarrassed since they're both guys but he thinks he can probably make excuses if anyone asks.

yeah, that's exactly what it sounds like, and i solemnly swear this isn't a scam nor am i being paid to do this. check their instagram if you don’t believe me. i have yet to even find one of these free albums.

looking at their feed, you’ll see the boys posting pictures of different random locations each day. and if you drop by those locations and know where to look or who to ask, there’s an mzsd album waiting for the lucky fan to find it with a note from one of the boys. if i’m right, then the boys hid several albums each, and it’s up to us to find them all. based on the fans who’ve posted their albums, here’s where the albums were found so far and which member left them there:

MK: gs25 he used to work at NOEUL: bungeoppang stall near the lgc building EDEN: his mom’s salon in iksan (she only gave it AFTER the fan sang earth, wind, & fire to her as she paid for her haircut) JAZZ: one of the london tea shops he mentioned SAEM: at the bean in chicago

Is it just me, or it feels more personal that the members are trying to show us bits and pieces of their lives by leaving these in places that seem to have some meaning to them? Or am I reading into this too much? But still! There are lots more albums to be found. I wonder where they'll be spotted next?

[ + / - ] mzsd even thought about international fans?! more groups should be like them. it’s a sweet idea. [ + / - ] is it only me or does it remind me of when old gen groups would promote their albums at random locations in public? i guess this is a safer way to promoting nowadays. [ + / - ] these boys are a cool bunch. it reminds me of geocaching in a way. congrats to the lucky fans that were able to find them in time!
