it’s nice to feel useful. chaewon offered to help yerin with the choreography for adios, latata and bim bam bum - the chances of yerin being switched to bim bam bum were slim, in chaewon’s opinion, but it never hurt to be prepared. maybe they’ll even go over dalla dalla if they have the time. her motivations had been mostly pure at the time, but that damn pyramid keeps entering her mind, with yerin sitting halfway up it, and chaewon down at the bottom, looking up at her. it’s nice to feel useful, but it’s even nicer to prove that chaewon being that low down at the first ranking was a mistake.
not that yerin should have been any lower, god no. chaewon wouldn’t take that away from her. she’s been in the legacy dungeon long enough.
sitting on the floor, chaewon reaches out to her adidas running shoes to tie her laces, tongue cutely poking out between her teeth. then she sits back, and crosses her legs, giving yerin a kind look. “are you good to go? i was thinking we could start with adios.”
when she gets the go ahead, chaewon clambers to her feet and queues up the demo track they’ve been working with for the last few weeks. the choreography is fun and powerful, and so different to chaewon’s chosen solo song - oh my girl’s cupid. this will be a good opportunity to show the viewers that bae chaewon can pull off cute concepts and strong concepts. oh, and of course, she’s getting to spend time with yerin. she doesn’t get to train with her at all normally, so it’s nice to get to work with her today.
