MaRin’s wrist injury
“Marin flew back to Korea suddenly on Tuesday for a minor procedure and was supposed to rest this week, but he really wanted to start against QG & play this set, so he flew back to the LGD House soon after. He's better now and the whole team really wants to win today!” - @LGDReira
I really am amazed that despite of him having this problem with his wrist (or his arm), he really has that undying motivation to win the game. Others as well have been working very hard so they can reach play-offs, I hope that everything will soon pay off and LGD will be able to get back on their feet and get to play some actual League of Legends! (Let’s all cross fingers, fans!)
LGD vs. QG
It’s the match between the second to the last team in Group A against the first place team in LPL, please watch LGD today and support MaRin, Eimy, We1less, imp and Pyl~! #LGDWIN
(Spoiler: LGD won the first game. ;)
LGD finally won their 2nd game!
This might be a late post, but I still want to post this because I’m so happy with LGD’s performance this match. If you haven’t watched it yet, and you’re a fan of MaRin or LGD itself, I recommend you to watch it and let’s all die together *coughs* just kidding!
If you have watched LGD’s last win against EPA where MaRin played first game and Acorn played the second one, and they have Xiaoxi as their jungler, I should say that I knew that LGD can do better than what they did that time. The match was sloppy and somewhat boring but hey! a win is a win right?
But this time around, you know what just happened? My God! at the beginning before that match even started, Eimy was so happy, he was smiling and laughing with MaRin (go see picks and bans) and I don’t even know what so funny when you’re about to face Vici Gaming (come on, we know that it’s Eimy’s former team and MaRin’s former team mate Easyhoon is there too.) But I’m really happy that both of them always have their high spirits with them.I know MaRin’s been in high spirit as always but EIMY? that guy’s barely smiling and seeing him happy means we all know he has something prepared and he’s back on his feet.
LGD Gaming really improved that match, even the casters said that it’s the LGD that we've been waiting for and the MaRin that we always want to see ever since he joined the team. Yes, we don’t expect MaRin to have many kills because he played Nautilus, but the point here is, LGD had finally realized the purpose of having MaRin on the team. Unlike in SKT, where MaRin can carry, having Imp on the same team means that MaRin doesn't have to be the carry on the team especially when he gets all the teams resources and in the end he can’t do anything in return because the enemy would focus on him too much that he gets left behind most of the time. Having MaRin play on the likes of Nautilus and Morgana is something that LGD should keep on doing, MaRin can carry a game and he can be the utility in a game where Imp plays a champion like Kog’maw (he’s very good with this champ I’m 101% sure).
So what are the things that I’ve noticed with LGD this match? What made them have the advantage and the dominating win?
MaRin being able to play for the team as a utility (where he doesn’t have to get all the resources on the team)
Imp getting a lot from the team (resources and good picks like Kog’maw)
Pyl getting the priority pick (I really believe Froskurin when she said that it’s really good for the team to get prior picks for the player that they have the most advantage with, and as for LGD, it will be their shotcaller Pyl)
Eimy getting back on the game and being able to play his good champs like Gragas and Nidalee
We1less getting ahead on farm and vision control against his opposite lane. Him getting high-mobility champs like Ryze and Kassading is really good for him especially when he’s one of the primary “visionary” (as Froskurin has said) in the team.
Good communication (LGD has been working on their communication lately and we can finally see it in their performance especially with jungle/top communication)
LGD getting good/improving their team objectives.
I have a lot of things to say but, I kinda forgot them (sorry) But I would love to talk this matter with you guys, after all it’s LGD getting back on LPL and improving this time around.

LGD Gaming calendar! Advance Happy Chinese New Year/Lunar New Year to everyone~!
(I wish I have one of this precious calendar…)
LGD's First Lost and MaRin's Welcome to China Party Personal Thoughts
So first of all before anyone could think that this post is subjective, biased or any words that will say that I am a pure MaRin fan, I just want to say that this post is my personal thoughts and indeed this is a MaRin blog so yes, I am a fan of MaRin.
I didn’t put a lot of expectations that the LGD Gaming now will win this game especially when its QG as their first match. LGD has their new coach and rosters.
But what I actually noticed while watching the match and trying to focus on the players, I’ve noticed We1Less is not really doing anything, he’s been behind and was caught out of position a lot of times. Meanwhile, Eimy seems to be not on the same page with his team mates, its like when you actually watched the whole 2 games, He’s not even ganking that much, and when he does, its actually not very good and not even helpful when it comes to LGD getting the lead or the advantage against the enemy. Also, MaRin has been bullied a lot of times, most of the times, QG will go to MaRin bringing 2-4 members of the team and killing him at the same time, he’s not even safe by his turrets anymore, because everytime he tries to equal the cs lead of his counterpart by killing minions under his turrets, QG will kill him anyway, making him so behind and mostly can’t do anything for his team. It’s like the main goal of QG is to bring down MaRin, bully him and win the game. I feel like they were trying to bring down his strong mentality which he got from SKT (God, SKT is the best team in the world and there’s no argument needed when it comes to the players strong mentality and confidence).
As a matter of fact, I’ve seen from Kelsey Moser’s tweets that LGD is not communicating at all during the games, (When I saw that tweet I actually thought that they were doing telepathy, but I know that SKT only do that kind of things - seeing how they talk less during the mic check in Worlds) and that is the main factor to win games: good communication. Well, seeing how they have new rosters, not winning this game with QG (which is actually a strong team in LPL) is understandable, besides, Imp and MaRin is just starting to learn Chinese and that will be a very good thing for the team once they have decided what language will be used in communicating.
That time, when LGD lost, I was sad and disappointed at the same time but seeing MaRin smile after that match, made me feel a lot better. He was the guy to watch out for and he has a lot of Chinese fans watching him there, and I feel like he was sad thinking that he disappoint his fans and made them sad, but still, he managed to smile for them. This is why I always say that kill him anytime in the game but never, not even once, other teams can kill his smile, strong mentality and good personality in game.
But, eitherway, starting from now I will believe in LGD as much as I believe in SKT, To be honest, I’ve never been a fan of LPL teams but ever since MaRin came into LGD, Easyhoon came into VG and now, TOM into QG, I feel like supporting these three and I hope the same for all the SKT fans out there.
LGD will definitely win the next game against Snake! I’m sure of it. If not, kill me. Lol
