Okay so. Toooootes have to talk about these two, heehee. So they dated a while ago? (I creeped on your comments and saw that you said maybe sometime in their early/midtwenties which is totes fine with me.)
Okay so I don't know how deeply you want them to each have been committed to the relationship. Most people thought they would eventually marry? Well if that's the case and that's the belief that they were both operating under, then maybe they broke up because they both knew they weren't ready for that kind of commitment and when Sonny took over as underboss then they could maybe try again and marry?
But I feel like Sonny's dating and proposing to Lucy was an act of rebellion and he really didn't put a whole lot of thought into it and kind of forgot about Lia during that moment but maybe he really does miss her and wish something had come of their relationship?
These two do still work together don't they? I totes think that their past relationship wouldn't affect their business relationship at all and I can totes see Sonny respecting Lia professionally and being pretty glad that she's on their side and not against them, ahaha.
So, yeah. Thoughts?
