!!!! POTION, YAY! My only suggestion is to strain out the plant material if you want to keep it longer-term; the salt's going to help keep it from spoiling, but moldy potions are no fun.
If I could, I would. I don’t have a strainer. :c Thank you for the tip though! I was wondering if I should put more salt in it to preserve it? Or maybe I should’ve just kept the tea bags in there instead of cutting them open.

11. how do you communicate with each other?talking! we have a headspace-- a v large house and some surrounding land, and everybody can hang out/interact there. we do have little cliques and not everybody runs with each other, or encounters certain people often, but yeah. we can all talk to each other. if you're in the fronting group, we also can... read each other. surface thoughts and emotions, sometimes more if it's really strong. depends on the person, who's sharing and being shared with, but generally yeah.we also have a handful of journals (mostly online now) for posting to each other in, plus notes apps and email drafts aplenty. most recently stiles posted an entry for adam thanking him for taking out the trash. normal boring living with people life stuff :x and leaving notes/comments for people to see later, so it doesn't get missed between comings and goings. it's also good for record keeping. i don't have the greatest memory, so it really helps for our conversations to also be written down.
annnd i just remembered to write one adam and i had down this morning. okay, set.28. talk about how you switchooh. okay, okay. we... not everybody fronts. either they can't or they don't want to. i do get frustrated by this off and on, because it seems so easy for so many systems. i've asked all kinds of questions and done all kinds of work. but it just seems to be-- how we are now. so, not a lot of people do it to begin with. BUT when we do, it... depends. if it's a deliberate handover, someone giving over the driver's seat to a specific individual, then it's very much tied to breathing. this is easiest to do when we first wake up/are woken up, but it can be done other times with enough focus. if it's a bunch of people crowding the front then one person usually still “drives” and other people pipe up or get relayed, but it’s not a full switch. it’s not a blend either, though! just a mess. \o/
other times it's entirely situational. people will drop me or stiles at front if they get overwhelmed, or have to actually talk to someone else. noah and adam have both done that in like the last two days, rather than introduce themselves. which we're bad at. sigh. the front is never “empty” and nobody really gets “stuck” if they truly don’t want to be up here-- fortunately there’s always someone who’s enough of a control freak to take over.

Clint is an amazing cook, and he’s smug about it lol. we cook together sometimes, and he whines about how I’m bad at grocery shopping. the man makes killer bbq though, and he’s mastered the art of cooking enough for an entire circus troupe with minimal ingredients.
Mikey is HOPELESS. Mikey is not allowed near stoves. he once failed at instant ramen and I don’t even know how. poor kid :x
14. who’s the youngest? who’s the oldest?
Mikey is the youngest. we’re both bad at keeping track of how old he actually is but I’m pretty sure it’s his 19th birthday next month. Clint is the oldest, he’s 38. Caine ages weird because dog.
18. who’s been there the longest?
Billie first showed up when I was... 15? so he’s been here for 11 years, give or take. I thought it was a weird side effect of my meds at first but thankfully it wasn’t!

They definitely don't force anything, and I love a lot of their Christian music as well, though I wasn't sure how you would feel (Doubting Thomas in particular is a really stunning song). Chris Thile's solo work is more traditional bluegrass while Nickel Creek can be a bit... easy listening bluegrass at times, but it goes really well with sunny autumn days when those arrive.
