My fish Liam is actually named after Liam Delaney, a character in Bloody Jack. He's an awesome person, and I love when he makes an appearance in the books. Jacky first meets him because he's her "Sea Dad", meaning he shows her the way of a ship. This is how he is described in the first book:
"Liam is tall and strong and he has a lilty way of talkin'. His hair is black as coal. He plays the pennywhistle and has given me one and is teachin' me to play it, but I'll never be able to play it as good as him."
Ah, I just realized that Liam in the book loves music, and my Liam constantly has to hear me sing because I don't like singing in front of people. I chose the right name for him. This is awesome.
