do magical girl anime exist in mwdh? like does val ever watch sailor moon? what would everyones favorite show be?

They do! Valerie references Precure and Madoka at one point and Ethan references Sailor Moon as well.

As for the characters favorites, Valerie, Ethan, and Chandra are the only characters who are big on anime. Alex has pretty mainstream tastes so he's mostly familiar with shows like Dragon Ball and Naruto.

Valerie has a preference for Precure, Chandra isn't as interested in magical girls and prefers horror manga, but I imagine she would enjoy Madoka, and Ethan is more into tokusatsu henshin hero shows like Kiramager.

some UI fixes. finally fixed the labels in the prefs screen, figured out how to put the backgrounds on the choices, and changed the textbox slightly. moved val's side image over so it hopefully isn't covering any text anymore
