I'm feeling very selfish today. I pushed back the euthanasia appointment. I couldn't help it. I want the weekend. I don't want to say goodbye.. 💔😭

Six hours in a car, four hours in the hospital, today was even more hectic- but Liam is doing much better than he was these last few days ♥

He's super exhausted, trying to sleep standing up, time for bed 😴

Seriously though, shock collars on dogs is going to become a touchy subject with me...

I don't want a shock collar on my dog, especially if it's shocking them. Especially not for something as small as peeing on a blanket and I don't care how many times he does it. I'm home for multiple multiple hours of the day, I go down to my room and leave all three dogs upstairs, when I come back up an hour or two later there is rarely an accident- how can you sit at the freaking breakfast bar in the kitchen in the evening and not notice a dog wanting to go to the bathroom? Why can the two of you sit up there and they feel like they can go pee while I can be all the way downstairs and nothing happens? Why should my dog be punished in such a severe way for something he doesn't do often?

I don't approve, my dog is my child- are you going to put a shock collar on your four year old because she won't go potty in the potty chair? No, you're not. You wouldn't even take her out in public if she didn't have the average ability to behave- no child leashes for her. It's not appropriate for a child to be dragged on a leash, well it's not appropriate for a dog to be shock by a collar- in my opinion.

Honestly, one of the main reasons this pisses me off (besides how unfair it is) is because I walked into the house- gave you a flipping 10 minute warning, and saw it on him. Did even ask "Are you okay with your dog having a shock collar on him?" Nope, not at all, let's just put the collar on him then act all surprised that Jodeci's pissed off about it.  It's not like different owners have different opinions on shock collars for dogs, right? And then the fact that I don't approve gets mocked. Great, you don't approve of him peeing on a blanket- tell him no, put him outside, and shut the door. You don't have to shock him.
