And that... That was the night Lianas pressed the big pause button of her life. She gave up going to the carnival completely, ignoring every single message from Rimada and the fellow brothers and sister who had gotten worried about her. Word had spread, but messages still came flowing in. Why couldn’t they just leave her alone? Even her pastry shop had been closed down and she hadn’t worn make up in what seemed like weeks... Although it had only been a couple of days... She had spent the last week inside, in her couch, watching the shows that she and Gloria used to watch together, or rather, the shows she made Gloria watch with her. 

Nothing seemed to help. Not the excessive amount of cake she was eating, not the take out because she was too tired and done with everything to cook, not the tv shows... Nothing worked. She felt empty. She felt like everything that was worth living for had been stripped away from her. Her faith had gotten weaker before Gloria had died, so Gloria had been one of the only things she really truly had to cling to that defined her as a troll. Sure she had her pastry shop, but that was nothing but a hobby. 

And now Gloria was gone. She truly felt like she had nothing worth living for anymore.

Lianas would spend the next three weeks in her hive penthouse, watching horror shows and what not as always, waiting for something to happen. Waiting for someone to tell her that it was all just a cruel joke. But it wasn’t. Gloria was gone and she wasn’t coming back. 

Once Lianas realized this, she pulled herself together and returned to the carnival. Dressed up with her face paint and everything like she’d always do. To perfection. But her eyes were empty. She had nothing left; so now it was time to reach out for something she knew she could have in her life, although it had been close to gone. Her faith.

Three weeks and four days after Gloria’s death. That was the night Lianas started believing again.

Gloria wouldn’t come back and she knew that. But she couldn’t continue mourning forever, even if she wanted to. She shut down her pastry shop and devoted her life back to The Carnival.

Every early morning before Lianas would go back to coon, she’d say her prayers for The Messiahs as she always did when she was younger, the prayers she had stopped saying when she had met the love of her life. She’d say her prayers... And tell her lost love how her night had been. 

Her returned faith allowed her to believe, even if she was but a blueblood, that she was listening from somewhere else.

Lust

romantically, shylars never been romantically interested in anyone before, but one thing is for sure... big, burly indigo men... will most likely make her heart go doki doki before shes even tried talking to them HAH it often goes away when shes talked to them, but... as you can guess.. both sexually and romantically thats what she falls for A+ lol 

Greed

she actually doesnt hoard anything... like i know its pretty obvious that trolls has a thing for piles of stuff but shylar is quite tidy o: at least with the things she collects! shes got jewelries that she gets twice a sweep from her lusus and then shes got a big room with surf boards and wet suits that she wont use but theyre just there to look cool and she loves them

Sloth

she will not leave the beach, she really really refuses to do so... its possible to persuade her but itll be super fucking hard ok

Pride

her surfing skills really, whenever she gets the chance she can and she WILL show off for other trolls, shell make sure they see just how awesome she is and then shell boast about it 

Gluttony

well isnt it pretty obvious shes obsessed with surfing? haha everyone knows that soooo

... shes oddly obsessed with raw fish... she mostly really only eats raw fish that she just caught from the ocean o: 

Envy

shes SUPER envious of other trolls at the surfing competitions she goes to, not because theyre better (shes always in at least top 3) but because of her awkward social skills no one wants to sponsor her and she sorta wants all the attention but it just doesnt work out haha

literally just anyone whos stuck up and doesnt respect others...

Lust

she calls gloria her pretty cake but yknow that >8)

hmmmm... her matesprit, gloria, is the only troll whos seen her without her make up in SWEEPS and thats bc she trusts gloria and she feels safe around her ;3; i imagine her loving to cuddle up against gloria while making her watch shitty horror tv shows 

Greed

yknow lianas actually have this ONE room in her hive that she uses for her piles of stuff. we know trolls like to have piles of stuff around, but lianas is super duper tidy so she limits it all to one single room

where in shes got piles upon piles of stuffed animals... she used to love them when she was a little wiggler but cant get rid of them

also on the walls shes got shelves filled with pretty snow globes and cute rubber ducks... surprising i know 

Sloth

SHE STRONGLY REFUSES TO EVER GIVE UP ON HER SHOP no matter what! religion, private life, whatever! shell never give up on her pastry shop!

Pride

shes really proud about her tiny pastry shop, its the best and she loves it! shes got a whole bunch of regulars who all love her pastries! a lot of people thinks her shop is the best and she KNOWS it c:

her store, any kind of sweets and her matesprit!

Envy

hmm... when she sees slim trolls on the streets... that makes her envious... AND jealous... shes scared that her body might not be enough or good enough for her matesprit or that shell rather want a skinnier troll... that sometimes gets to her :c

anyone who shits on her profession or her shop! she used to get furious when people questioned or shat on her religion, but now shes sorta just indifferent to that.

"My motherfucking sister, the what fuck!? Are you saying you motherfucking disrespected Sashia for the sake of your motherfucking pastry shop!?" He was obviously angry. Of course he was. She had fucked up majorly. She bit her lower lip, swallowing dryly. 

"... Yes, ringmaster... I had a busy night..."

"A BUSY NIGHT!? One of your sisters DIED! And you HAD A BUSY NIGHT so you couldn't join to pay her that last piece of motherfucking respect!? Haven't The Messiahs always said the brothers and sister must be there for eachother!?" 

"... Yes, b-but-" 

"NO BUTS! Weren't we motherfucking there for you when YOU needed us!?" 

"Y-Yes, I-I'm s-sorry.." It was obvious she was getting choked up. It was never easy to get scolded, especially by someone who has such a significance in the carnival... Especially by a dear friend.

"You better motherfucking be, sister! If you don't stop motherfucking acting up soon, The Messiahs will punish you for your blatant blasphemy towards him and our brothers and sisters" 

"Blasphemy!?" She was hurt hearing that word. She believed! She did her prayers! She did what she was supposed to do! But yet... It still wasn't enough.

"Yes! Motherfucking blasphemy! You have such potential sister..." He seemed to have calmed down a bit, before he grabbed onto her face, pressing his long bony fingers into her cheeks until tears dwelled up in her eyes. Had it been anyone else, someone she knew she could easily take on, she'd have flipped her shit and ripped off their head. But not Rimada, he was the ringmaster. Her friend. And she was scared of him. He was even hurting her now.. He had never been afraid of hurting her. He pulled her face upwards, forcing her to stand on her toes. 

"Don't motherfucking mess it up!" he seethed between his teeth before letting her go pushing her backwards, so she was close to fall back but was saved by a pole holding the tent the sermon had been in. Rimada had already turned around to go meet with his moirail in the back of the tent.

Lianas stumbled back up on her feet, glaring after him. She lifted her hand and flipped him off with it, causing some subjugs seeing that to glare judging at her before she stomped out of the tent. Oh she was angry alright, but... It was all so easy to show when the one she did it to, couldn't see it.
