@lifeismisery sent - ⛺ go camping (and tell ghost stories by the campfire) - for @liarlixr? :3c ( Cozy Autumn Prompts - Accepting! )
⛺- Go camping.
"We picked a pretty great time to go camping - only gonna get colder from here," He had rolled out his blanket in front of his tent and taken the liberty of bringing some snacks from home. He'd even taken the liberty of bringing along a little kettle that could boil water for his cup noodles.
"Heh, so while we wait for the water - you know any ghost stories? Anything spooky?"
@liarlixr
"You've... thought of this kinda situation before, haven't you?"
It was one thing that Shiloh had so many ideas for where to bury a dead body. The shift in mood? That didn't surprise him terribly. Possibly a product of the time, but the kind of death and disease that was only spoken of in history books, that was the era Inuyasha was native to. There were many who just became... desensitized to death entirely, and he was one of those people. Unless it was someone that had meant something to him, Inuyasha just wasn't affected by seeing others die.
Didn't mean he had no respect for them. The years had changed this hanyō, having a regard for life was important. No longer did he walk away from bodies like they were expendable. He'd give a proper burial when possible, and a prayer in hopes of sending them to a peaceful afterlife.
The man wasted no time, stepping in turn, lifeless body in his arms like an elongated sack of rice. A noticeable flick from beneath the bandana on his head, movement was steady. The prior thoughts hadn't bothered him, but what did, was how Shiloh gave off not caring at all.
"You should take this more seriously." A few paces forward, quickly. Inuyasha wanted to be by his side so he could look directly at his face. "Even if ya didn't know someone, they're gone forever. I wanna hope what he did had some kinda meaning. The guy doesn't even look any older than you. That ain't much time to get anything done."
No attention to his own choice of words. In modern times, Inuyasha was supposed to be showing himself as though he were any other human. Given a hanyō's aging process, he was the youngest looking one present, his steps unwavering while focus set back on where he was being lead. Thinking more on it, he'd have likely chosen words that didn't give off his age in human year terminology.
He only grew up over the past few years. Growing older wasn't anything anyone had a choice in.
"You know his family or somethin'? The least we can do is tell 'em their kid's gone."
??? I mean, duh. Who does that anon think they are
Although they're giving a certain group of people especially way too much credit haha.
Quick reminder for my fellow students: Violence is never the answer.
However, as long as you people aren't dying on school grounds and do it out of visual periphery to me or staff, the aftermath is going to be entertaining at least. The actual fighting is very much still unacceptable though.
