Kokichi is always bad at gifting people and he hated that since he wanted to give Shuichi nice gifts without being a mess about it, it's his boyfriend after all. After passing by a nice bookstore and buying a nice suspense mystery book, a small black bag with a rare brand of coffee that he is certain that Shuichi will love, a lovely small rapsberry chocolate cake and a love letter basically saying everything he loves about Shuichi and a cute 'Happy Birthday!' ♥

“Hehe, Kokichi, thank you! I already know I’m going to love what’s inside these gift bags. One second, I’ll bring them over to my desk.” Once he did, Shuichi begins taking out the different gifts inside each one.

“Ohh, I don’t think I’ve tried this brand of coffee before... it looks so nice.... and this cake looks really delicious, too: you always know exactly what I like, heheh... if it’s alright with you, I would love to enjoy it together with the coffee. And even got a nice book to pair with it all, too! Just by the cover alone, it looks interesting. I can’t wait to give it a read.”

Neatly setting the gifts back down, he then picks up the love letter. “Alright, time to read...” And as he’s reading.. “A...Ah...” He feels his cheeks heat up, and his heart fluttering softly in his chest. “Kokichi...” Before anything, Shuichi quietly continues reading the letter until the end. Just reading about all the things Kokichi loves about him... it really touched him. Shuichi always wants to do his best to be a great boyfriend for him, and so to read this: it truly makes him happy.

He carefully sets the letter back down on the desk before standing back up. He walks closer towards Kokichi, before he pulls him close, wrapping his arms around him tight. “...That was such a sweet and cute letter, h-heheh... thank you so much, sweetheart. Just you being here with me was enough to make today better, but then you give me such nice gifts, and that lovely letter. If it’s okay, I... want to keep it: keep it somewhere safe, so I can read it whenever I want. I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend like you... I love you.” And leans in to give him a soft, loving kiss.

' Nishishi! You gotta catch me now, sweet detective! ' Kokichi muses as he continues to run away, but, he just hides inside the library and awaits for his beloved to catch him... you can say it's one of these moments Kokichi "loses" on purpose~ ( CUTIEPIES I LOVE THEM KDSNFKJS )

“Th-Then I’m going to make sure to get you-!” Shuichi continues chasing after him until he reaches the library as well. He starts thoroughly searching to see where his boyfriend’s hiding... “!” And once he does spot him, he’ll “sneak” up from behind and then... quickly wrap his arms around him in a tight hug!

“Got’cha!” He was sure Kokichi definitely would’ve chosen a harder spot to hide if he really wanted to, but he certainly wasn’t complaining at all, a satisfied smile appearing on his face despite his cheeks still being a light red.

“I’ve successfully caught the criminal who dared to murder me like that! He shall now be sentenced to... staying in my arms, just like this! And if he has complaints, then too bad! Though I know my beloved Kokichi will have no problem with that, now will he? Heheheh...” He snickers, nuzzling Kokichi before leaning his head over to peck his cheek.

“I love you, Koki...”

' Is it just me or you look extremely hot today? ' Kokichi says before humming in amusement. ' No... definitely not just today, you look hot every day~♪ ' And off he goes in order to let his shy boyfriend catch the flirt~

“Wha... huh? R-Really?” And then the blush that quickly creeps onto his face, worsens when he adds that last part. “Waah... y...you’re going to murder me, s-saying things like that... h-haha... ah!”

Then when he sees Kokichi run off, he starts flailing a bit. “H...Hheeeey!” While still being a flustered stammering red mess, Shuichi quickly goes after him. “D-Don’t just take off like that! Kokichiii!”

Seiichi’s smile widens at his answer, eagerly texting back:

Plopping his phone down, Seiichi throws on a blue plaid shirt over his white T-shirt, along with black jeans, and Monokuma sneakers. Throwing on his cap, Seiichi grabs his phone, bag, and house keys before exiting the house.

Since the station wasn’t too far away from his home, Seiichi got there in several minutes. When he spots Koyoshi, he waves excitedly and walks up to him. “Koyoshiii!” He gives him a soft peck to his forehead, cupping Koyoshi’s arms in his own as he playfully swings their arms.

“You look cute as always: thanks for wanting to come out here with me today! It’s been a while since we visited our favorite lil cafe together, so I’m excited!”
