(March 10, 2017) – The Boston Breakers announced today that goalkeeper Libby Stout will be out four to six weeks after suffering a sprained ankle.
“I’m obviously disappointed for Libby with this happening right before preseason,” Boston Breakers head coach Matt Beard said. “She worked hard to come back from injury last year. I’m confident that she'll be back stronger than ever.”
The 26-year-old Stout made her debut with the Breakers in 2016. She started nine of the 10 games she appeared in and led the team in saves with 42.
How the hell are we meant to pick a save of the week this week?!? (Sam Witteman swerving that creep aside because duh)
