Little personal story and I guess a bit of erotica.

So, the prior post came from a dream I had last night.

I usually try not to be too personal but, maybe it will help others.

Dream started in a large house/mansion with many people in it. My HGA dreams always feature this symbol.

I met a beautiful woman and who had a presence of being something wild. We flirted back and forth and eventually we found a quiet place a room (another feature of my HGA dreams) Every exchange was to build the tension, the passion.

Clothes came off and from the neck down to her mons were scars. From a lightning strike she told me as we kissed and fondled. I found it fascinating and gorgeous. I loved her scars. I then saw she had tattooed the scars with what look liked gold and cobalt. Like the actual material. I then became lucid as I entered her. I realized what this was. Her eyes flashed with blinding light and she became the lightning flash and the roll of thunder as we merged into blasting light. This is always the last feature of my HGA dreams.

Yours may not play out this way. Mine have always been a variation on this theme.

My first meeting was with a carpenters daughter. Hair was like strands of curly wild lightning. The carpenter told me he had built us a home, a mansion. We entered in, me and my angel and she showed me all the rooms. We finally entered the last room, filled with blinding light and thunderous voices. I merge into this light, into what I AM.

So, hope that wasn't too personal. But was moved to share my experience.

Occult life pro tip, and a tangent about Abramelin

Planning the rest of the rites according to the Seven Spheres schedule and I’m slightly dying inside because I live in the UK and now that we’ve passed the spring equinox, every four days the first planetary hour gets earlier and earlier by 11 minutes – thank God for the change in clocks this weekend, or I’ll be expecting 5am days by the end of the whole thing.

Life Pro Tip: Avoid revisiting said programme at the height of summer, when sunrise is at 4am, or just aim for one of the later planetary hours. I’m aware this kind of attitude isn’t going to get me to Abramelin stage, of course, but that’s assuming I give a shit about Abramelin (I don’t – not now, at least). P.S. I am evidently not your model occultist, so stick to your Donald Michael Kraig/Pete Carroll/Phil Hine/Aleister Crowley for meaningful magical LPTs. Actually, no, not Crowley.

P.P.S. It’s not that I don’t care about Abramelin; I’m just not terribly hot on the idea at this point in my life. Not that, if the stars align and the signs are obvious, I wouldn’t be tempted by the prospect; just that there appear to be ways of working towards your HGA that weren’t written by wealthy, privileged and well-educated early Renaissance men of letters who had time and money on their hands to burn, sometimes literally.

I’m aware that also describes Crowley (apart from the early Renaissance bit), but I’m also not suggesting the hybrid hot mess – but, from what I know of others who have performed it seriously, an extremely powerful and effective hot mess – that is Liber Samekh, if only because it’s less meaningful if you don’t care for Thelema. Try the original Headless Rite instead, which also has less Jesus if you’re not keen on the Christian stuff.

The spate of stars shoots from the head of the Will-Symbol, and is scattered over the sky in glittering galaxies. This dispersion destroys the concentration of the adept, whose mind cannot master such multiplicity of majesty; as a rule, he simply sinks stunned into normality, to recall nothing of his experience but a vague though vivid impression of complete release and ineffable rapture. Repetition fortifies him to realise the nature of his attainment; and his Angel, the link once made, frequents him, and trains him subtly to be sensitive to his Holy presence, and persuasion. But it may occur, especially after repeated success, that the Adept is not flung back into his mortality by the explosion of the Star-spate, but identified with one particular "Lion-Serpent", continuing conscious thereof until it finds its proper place in Space, when its secret self flowers forth as a truth, which the Adept may then take back to earth with him. This is but a side issue. The Bornless/headless rite is pretty much wrapped up when you feel and can sense the presence and spirit of your angel. It may feel and be different for everyone, but if you sense a powerful, enlightened, protected and inspired presence around, within and throught you. You feel pervaded and surrounded in a presence. Awe. Psychedelics can give a glimpse if used properly. If you combine the ritual with psychedelics you should definitely get it! From then on, magick is just connecting to that, deepening that experience, that moment. It is the power to be active in the spirit realm, the celestial fire burns in you and moves you. All things are ruled by it. The Force of all subtle forces. Spirit. Omnipresent awarness, cosmic consciousness.
