When are people gonna realise that being racist, homophobic, transphobic or sexist is not a political stance!!!
You being ignorant and discriminating things people can’t change about themselves isn’t an opinion. I see this all the time when ignorant people say “it’s my opinion” or “I Just don’t agree with the lifestyle” or some bullshit like that. Yes you can have opinions about certain topics in the lgbt community such as SOME neopronouns or how SOME feminists portray themselves and those are actually opinions. But those are actual harmful things inside these communities who mainly Just consists of people wanting equal rights. People denying rights is NOT a political stance. Being conservative is not an excuse for being sexist, homophobic, racist or transphobic! This is not what conservative means. Same goes for ignorant leftists who discrimate against other groupes. A conservative can be a openminded person who thinks everyone deserves equal rights. I could be friends with someone who is conservative if they aren’t ignorant and open for conversation. Discrimation isn’t part of left or right, sadly it is so closely involved with politics that it’s hard to see them apart. So always think before you vote or agree with a politician or authority, What are opinions and what is discrimination.
