Házmburk (Hasenburg)
(pics, wiki) I've always wanted to see it in The Musketeers. It's a ruin I can see from my home. I'm always saying we live halfway between Házmburk and Říp (round hill* from our legends) and once I can see those two, I'm home. The ruins used to be a castle of two towers-
white (not anymore, now is it actually black too), square one upper on the hill
and black, round one a bit lower.
Btw. the series ones are of my favourite views- fields of golden grain and various hills on the background.
...and Libochovice.
* I mean- it’s really tiny. How can anyone call it “mountain”? We do it in Czech too, but it doesn’t make sense anyway.
So, today we have continued in my new favourite game called "Can you identify this place?".
The castle Milady was in? Libochovice!!! (links unfortunately not in English, so just pictures)
It's quite close my grandma's and we're visiting those gardens every year since forever.
They have peacocks there and it's one of my favourite sights.
I love you, Musketeers, keep showing me the beauty of my country!
