Cuz I have a feeling the TC kinda holds a bit of a grudge of Bloodie ellie. Especially Zel. Imagine Elizabeth turning into some kind of fallen angel like throughout the years, her wings kinda turn black/grey because of the curse and watching your lover die over and over again
Now that I think about it, Mel treats his sisters(Veronica and Margaret) more of his siblings than his actual brothers. Which is a bit sad now that I think about it --- Zel, who wants to spend time with his brother and looked up to him, only for human Mel(lmao imagine if his still short like his canon self! Never getting rid of that genes cuz no way hell I'm gonna imagine him being a tall character) to treat his sisters better than he ever did towards him

I haven't actually thought a lot about reversed curses (I'm too biased to the meliodas and the seven deadly sins dynamic) but I definitely am now!
Elizabeth's fighting skills is one of the top contenders for most wasted potential in this series. And I am mad about it. Like if you gonna give her a nickname like "bloody/blood-stained Ellie" and make even demons fear her, then LET HER FIGHT. I mean when also get goddess Elizabeth, back in the first holy war, be upset about how Mel is always the one protecting her/getting hurt. And in literally the first season we get her saying the words "for once, let me protect you"-
Anyway. Got a bit side-tracked. But yes. I definitely hear you. I would have loved to see more of Ellie fighting and protecting Mel
With a reversed curse - we also get a lot of interesting dynamics. Especially in contrast to what we're used to. Like Elizabeth being the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins? It also makes you think about how she would have ended up there. Would her sin/the events in Danafor have happened like with Mel or differently? I do really like the imagery of her becoming like a fallen angel. Especially with her personality. Because yes goddess Elizabeth could fight enough to scare even demons, but she would chose talking/the peaceful option when possible. It would be interesting to see that contrast, that descent from the gentle goddess everyone looked up to, to the sinful and violent criminal the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins would surely be viewed as.
Another interesting aspect and dynamics would be, like you point out, Meliodas being the third child of King Bartra. (And yes. Mel would definitely still be short. If canon Ellie gets to look basically identical in all lifetimes, then so does Mel. Plus, tall Meliodas is my nightmare. He and Zel are short, them's the rules). But. Meliodas being Bartra's kid and being the third princess prince of Liones? Now, that would actually be a bit ironic (and could definitely add to the angst from Zel) when you think about it. Meliodas who, in a way, ran away from/turned his back on/left his responsibilities as the demon king's son (the demon prince if you will) ends up being a prince of a human kingdom.
It would be weird in fascinating kind of way to see that version of Meliodas. Cause I imagine Meliodas, prince of Liones would be a softer, more candid Meliodas. One without (remembering) all the trauma and suffering of his past. One without a need to lie or hide the truth. One who grew up with a father who is actually a good father, let alone a kind king. I do however think his and Veronica's dynamic would be interesting and funny. I feel like they would definitely butt heads a lot.
Meliodas' relationship with his sisters would also be interesting to see post the cure, after his memories return. Because Meliodas - original, demon Meliodas - was the eldest. He spent his life (centuries) first as the only son of the Demon King and then as the older brother to Zeldris. He might not consider himself a good big brother, but the fact remains he was the older brother. And not only that but also the one everyone looked to as the next Demon King. All of that, those responsibilities, could and would probably clash with the life as the little adoptive brother. I feel like things would go easier with Margaret and her more gentle nature, then with Veronica. There's also the point, assuming everybody's ages remain like canon, that there would be a 6 year difference between Meliodas and Margaret and only a 2 year difference between him and Veronica. I feel like they would in a way compete of the elder role, both trying to use age as an argument for their case; "I'm older than you!" "Yet you're still just on your first lifetime."
Okay. Yes. Let's talk angst. Specifically the Zeldris angst. Because yesss. Zeldris seeing Meliodas being a brother, actually a good brother, with Margaret and Veronica would fucking hurt. And it would definitely be worse after Meliodas regains all his memories. Because then it wouldn't just be human Meliodas who is technically their brother but it would also be demon Meliodas, his brother being a brother with them. And maybe the logical part of Zeldris could see that yeah maybe it is unfair to be mad at Meliodas for actions he doesn't remember or a life he didn't actually choose, but the other part of him is a hurt little brother who was abandoned by his older brother - and the next time he saw him he is being affectionate and openly being a brother with some people Zeldris doesn't even know (that Meliodas isn't even related to!) It would also make their reconciliation and Meliodas wanting to be his big brother "for once" really emotional, in a slightly different way to canon.
Oh right! The Ten Commandments! Can't forget about them. I do agree, they would hold a grudge. Heck we already see that in canon. Both Derieri and Zeldris confront Elizabeth with hostility and anger about the past. It would be interesting to see how things would play out with Elizabeth and Meliodas roles, in a way, reversed. Because in canon a lot of the Sins' interactions with the 10C are shaped by Meliodas' relationship and past with them, but in this au it would be by Elizabeth. It would also be interesting to see how they would deal with Meliodas. A Meliodas who doesn't even know/remember that he is a demon. Who lacks full control of his powers (which also would be an interesting aspect of a reversed curse au. How would Meliodas' powers emerge, how would his control of them be without his memories?). Who doesn't remember them nor remember betraying them.
Actually. The events in Danafor would be interesting for more reasons. Because like. Meliodas' death. Would it happen like Liz' did in canon, with Fraudrin killing him as their paths cross? Or would he be killed while trying to protect Elizabeth because she would still be the one Fraudrin would want, with her being the goddess. But also. How would Fraudrin react to meeting a human with Meliodas' likeness, a possibly probably a hint of his magic, but no memory whatsoever about the demons or Fraudrin or the Meliodas Fraudrin would know.
Okay, okay. This is already long enough. But I do have one final thought. About the whole reversed curses itself. Because I have always found canon to be a bit a bit ironic/fitting/symbolic of the demon who is forced to live and the goddess forced to die. But so is also the reversed in a way. The goddess, associated with light and life, forced into an eternal life and ending up wishing for death. And the demon, associated with darkness and death and destruction, forced to die over and over again but also forced to live over and over again.
