1. Libra mercury: I noticed that no matter in what house libra mercury is located and no matter what aspects it makes, these people have tendency to lie about their life situation. It's not lying even, more of sugar coating. They tend to make their struggles sound like accomplishments. They have this inner need to make everything sound positive and polish to the point they completely disfigure the truth. On one side it's good, because they try so hard to not bother anyone with their problems, but on the other hand they also overlook, ignore and often underestimate problems of others because they're using the same mindset on people beside themselfs.

aries mercury: super direct communicators! capricorn is as well, but while cap is intentional w/ their words (bc they don’t like to waste time) aries is often so head strong that their thoughts don’t really pass a “screening” before they speak. aries is often misunderstood because of this; they may offend easily although they usually mean well. aries mercuries are often chosen to be leaders because they are so honest and forward. also because their voices can sometimes be naturally very loud.

taurus mercury: very slow moving and grounded people. this doesn’t always mean “grounded in reality” or “down to earth”, as taurus is often described. grounded here means that they are rooted in their own understanding; they’re often not open to new concepts until they’re ready. very sure about their feelings, like taurus suns, what you see is what you get - they mean what they say when they say it. don’t usually have any inflections either, their voices even sound sure of themselves.

gemini mercury: quite changeable + adaptable and very intelligent - their vocabularies are often very expansive! i think bc their minds are so open, they’re able to absorb information at an astonishing rate. these are definitely people you can discuss anything with, as they are ruled by mercury and truly intellectually gifted. also tend to speak quite fast bc gemini’s mind is always going. their only plight is ironically their minds; they can be plagued by anxiety and overlapping/ racing thoughts.

cancer mercury: can be just as consumed by emotions as cancer moons. the moon’s influence over mercury can be quite messy - for everyone who is not cancer. being so sensitive (not just to mean they’re easily offended, sensitive meaning they’re in touch), their communication style is emotional. they can be quite poetic w/ their words and if they’re struggling to verbally communicate, cancer will make you feel how they do. though this usually isn’t a conscious thing; cancer’s emotions inevitably pour out of them.

leo mercury: definitely have the built-in confidence leo suns don’t always have. very sure of their own ideas and usually quite proud of themselves, i’ve never known them to need outside approval. like aries, quite direct and outspoken communicators. the difference is that leo is still leo - they’re more conscious of the affect their words have on others. also more dramatic and excitable.

virgo mercury: a lot like taurus mercury, very sure about their opinions. i’d say they’re more prone to arrogance than taurus mercury though. there’s a certain level of assurance that they just naturally walk with and it’s virtually unshakable. but this doesn’t mean they’re untouchable lmao, they definitely will tell you when they’re offended and loudly! (they do not take disrespect lightly at ALL) what i mean is that virgo is not shaken by much, it would take a lot to knock them down and even if you do, they get right back up.

libra mercury: truly have the gift of gab. these mercuries can communicate w/ anyone in any situation. very persuasive but not the way scorpio mercury is; they’ll change your mind before you even realize because they understand all sides. libra knows how to adjust their tone and choose their words carefully on the spot. also known to have very pleasant, smooth voices.

scorpio mercury: as i’ve said in sooo many posts, you’ll never know the depths of scorpio like scorpio does. i’d say the mercuries are the deepest of the scorpio personal placements, like scorpio mercury has the depth scorpio sun thinks they have. they’re very calculating w/ what they do or don’t say; you’ll very rarely get them to say something they didn’t mean to. that being said, don’t ask them for the truth unless you’re ready bc they’re also not big on sugar coating. also tend to be big over thinkers - not to say they’re not intuitive but they see between the lines of everything and are bound to be wrong once or twice.

sagittarius mercury: can actually be a bit vapid, especially compared to sag sun. this might be bc sag rules the 9th house (of expansion) and this may translate as a wanderlust person? like their minds are always far away and it can be a bit difficult to ground them with conversation (or at all). i’ve found though, that sag mercury may sound like they’re not invested in the conversation or actually absorbing what you’re saying; they are, it’s like someone who is answering you but not making eye contact. also can be misunderstood a lot - their words can come out harsher than they mean it, this is bc their minds often move faster than their mouths. it’s almost like the thoughts come out before they can actually think it through.

capricorn mercury: these are very direct, matter-of-fact communicators. nothing gets lost in translation because they want you to get it the first time. some might describe them as very cut and dry (often the case for earth mercuries) because they don’t see the need for unnecessary fluff. also have very strict boundaries, they know what they like and what they don’t.

aquarius mercury: of course, one of the most complicated mercuries. their thought process is unique to them - no aqua mercury is like the other. they do have some similarities though! they tend to separate their emotions from a lot of things, aquarius nature is to see the world as it is and sometimes to them that means separating feelings from facts. they can also come across as “emotionless”, lmao i promise you they are not! they’re just very matter-of-fact people; they like to get straight to business and tend to expect others to operate the same way. in fact, it may genuinely trouble them if others don’t see things in the “objective” way that they do (similar to aquarius mars). can also be quite dry communications, much like capricorn mercury.

They talk fast like they’re rushing to get to the point. These people also don’t really hesitate when speaking and they’ll say the first thing that comes to mind, which can be both good and bad.

Taurus:

These people have beautiful voices. They’re soft spoken and their voice is smooth as silk. These people tend to receive a lot of compliments on their voice because of this and this is also a great placement for singers.

Gemini:

I feel like they always know what’s going on, like they just got their ears to the streets. Speaking of which, they have great hearing too— literally nothing gets past these people, even the softest whispers will be heard and they will report back. These people may speak slowly and have very structured thoughts, almost like they have a whole checklist laid out in their head and they’re trying to make sure they hit all the points. Because of this, other people may find that they come off very “robotic”.

Libra:

Pretty agreeable people. If they disagree, they will talk on and on until they come to the conclusion that you may have a point because they like to see both sides of a situation. Let’s say something happens to you and you vent to this person. They’ll be like, “I understand what you’re saying. But maybe they didn’t mean it like that…” And they’re always more concerned with how the other person is feeling in conversation. They can be pretty sensitive to energy so if they feel a slight shift in your energy, they’ll ask “Is everything ok? How are you feeling?” and things like that.

Scorpio:

These people always talk like they’re telling you some secret. They whisper a lot, even when no one is really around but they’ll be like “This is just how I talk 🤷🏾‍♀️”. They speak at a low volume, yes, but the secrecy part comes from how they talk in code, even in one on one conversations, and they’ll even squint and look around just to make sure there aren’t any eavesdroppers.

Sagittarius:

I feel like these people tend to have strong opinions/viewpoints on a lot of things and these people can be seen as “controversial” amongst others because of this. They really don’t bite their tongue for anyone, but unfortunately, even when they are dead wrong they will stand on what they said and preach it like it’s gospel.

Capricorn:

These people have sternness in their voice. There’s some type of seriousness here and I think it’s because these people believe in speaking when it matters most. Like they’re not gonna talk just to talk. Their jokes and playfulness are reserved for their close friends and family members that they actually like.

Aquarius:

I feel like these people say and do things that throw people off or have some kind of “shock value” because they get a little kick out of it. I’ve noticed that they also never really have a solid stance/opinion on anything. They could feel one way today, then say something that contradicts that the next day.

Pisces:

These people talk in riddles. There’s almost like a poetic, whimsical aspect to the way they speak. These are also the people that LOVE poetry/spoken word because they like when there is an underlying message beneath what is said aloud.
