Join us for Wayland Library Comic Con on Saturday April 7th! There will be comic-making workshops for kids, costumes, games, and comics galore! Underdog Comics along with other comic artists and writers (some for kids and some for adults) will host a table from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. upstairs in the North Wing. Activities for kids, including a super hero training camp, will start at 11 a.m. 

Costumes encouraged! We hope to see you there! We will have cookies.

Folks, I will be exhibiting at Library Comic Con in the Boise Public Library this weekend! I’ll be participating on two panels: a food comics panel at 10:30 am Saturday and a webcomics panel at 10:30 am Sunday. See you folks there!

Panel Spotlight: The Legacy of LEGO

Building with LEGO® bricks is not child’s play. Plenty of teens and adults continue to create masterpieces with LEGO® long after they put away other toys. What makes LEGO® so unique? Join us at 1pm to learn about the history of the LEGO® Group and find out how to make your own LEGO® creations. Note: while children are permitted, this program is geared towards teens and adults.

Artist Alley Spotlight: Tom Smith

Tom Smith has been in the comic industry for over 25 years. He has worked for major publishers like DC and Marvel, including a 7 year run on The Avengers which culminated in the classic Avengers vs JLA crossover. Visit him at Artist Alley, where he will have prints for sale.
