I have this bad habit of wanting to read everything I come across on the library, so my loans lists are always long and my holds list is never ending. These are just the physical copies of books I have for some of my current loaned audiobooks. Have you read any of these? 📚

I love the obscure books you can find in the University library. Mundane? Perhaps. Off-beat and actually quite fascinating? No. But nice pieces of graphic design? ABSOLUTELY.

i enjoyed this so much! the artwork is SO GOOD. i know pretty much fuck all about DC, had no idea who Starfire was and it didn't matter at all. it's a coming of age story about Mandy and honestly the superhero mum could have been a made up character just for this story it works so well on it's own. (also very savvy of DC, hook me with the teen gay goth storyline to get me wondering what else they have that i'd like). and did i mention that i loved the artwork? the final art itself it beautiful but also all of the character designs are just amazing. loved to look at this comic.

i already finished My Brother's Husband, it's so good i love it very much. the quote on the back leans towards it being a look into how it is to be gay in japan specifically and obviously it is set in japan and written by a gay japanese man but i also feel like Yaichi could be any average person, i'd recommend this book to straight people for that little nudge to look into your "i don't have a problem with gay people" beliefs compared to what your actions actually are and how you could work on that please.
