Satan is an intellectual, pass it on
221117 Went to the library at my old college to do some reading. Lo and behold! I found this book after getting my degree. 😥😥😥 but i guess it will never be too late to learn additional and new stuff right?
Reflections on My Trip to the Library
1. I DID IT AGAIN BUT WORSE THAN USUAL. Every time I go with the intention of getting six books. I usually end up with eight. Today, I came home with TEN. And also I’m still reading a book that I own, so basically 11!
2. I came across a book that I read ages ago. Like...before I started keeping a reading log, so at least six years, probably eight. It filled me with instant nostalgia because I love that book. The fun thing was that the way I remember, it was so huge! But now? I read much bigger books now. It looked so small. It struck me that that tiny book held a whole world for me.
3. Do you ever think about your future library placement? I was looking for a specific book, and I also had a few authors’ sections I wanted to peruse, and I thought, “Wow, that person I’ve never heard of next to Maggie Stiefvator is so lucky. Everyone looking for The Raven Cycle will browse past you.” I determined that I have pretty good placement, within scanning between two big names: F. Scott Fitzgerald and John Green. Go me! (Oh, gosh. My weird morbid stuff near John Green’s mush. Libraries are so magical, you can find anything all in one place.)
comic book men
The show comic book men is sooooo freakin cool!! Man I can't believe how much I liked it. I would do anything to go back in time and do nothing but read comics every single day!! I just LOVE how much these guys know about comics and superheroes and toys, to me it's just as amazing as the knowledge that a doctor has about the practice of medicine.... Just life has it's rough moments for everyone and it's nice to stop and step out of reality sometimes. There's few things that help me do that but comics has now become one of those things. I love it, i fucking love everything about it, the imaginary universes, the captivating stories, the breathtaking art and graphics, the creativity of it all!! I look forward to my next school break so I can go back to the library and check out those graphic novels. It's the little things in life that you have to appreciate guys :]
