I drew Tess a Lidina contrast piece for Christmas!! (There’s no right way to look at it, so I’ve included both, plus some close-ups of their faces)

Idina is the spirit of a dead human; a deep cut in her neck bleeds green energy. She has short light hair, and white freckles on her skin, which appears to have taken on a green hue. She is wearing a green button-up shirt, a green belt, and a white full-length skirt that seems to become less solid at the hem. In her hands, she holds close to her chest a bunch of purple lilac flowers. Beside her is text that reads: “Sent to Hell by the Devil’s command.”

The images are next to each other so that only one person is right-side-up at the same time. In the first photo, Lila is facing upwards, while in the second, Idina is. The two photos after that are closeups of Idina and Lila’s faces respectively. /end ID]

“Lila? Are you home?”

Silence met her question, but when she locked the apartment door and kicked her shoes into the closet, she noticed the familiar tan boots lying askew on the floor. With a smile making the corners of her mouth twitch, she hung her jacket on the typical hanger and stepped into the main part of their living space to look around.

No sign of her in the kitchen; that was an easy search, since the little table and chair were in her line of sight. She figured she wouldn’t need to check around the fridge, since she heard nothing from that direction.

Now that she thought about it, though, she figured she should remember to make sure there was still some fish in the freezer. Her girlfriend didn’t eat the stuff, so if there wasn’t any left, there wouldn’t be anyone to get annoyed at but herself. If she had to fetch any, she could pick up some of that iced tea Lila liked, too.

Turning her head to scan the other side of the apartment, she found her beloved brunette. Or at least, that’s what she hoped was under the mass of blankets on the couch. Giggling to herself, she crossed the floor to the living room. She carefully shifted the blankets closest to her. Just as she had expected, her girlfriend’s head was revealed as she moved her covers.

After uncovering her head, the freckled girl placed her hands on either side of the arm of the couch and leaned forward, gently kissing Lila’s lips with her own. Recovering her position and looking lovingly at her for a few moments, she then turned on her heel to put away the things she had brought home from the college.

“Idina?” came a little voice from the living room.

She turned back at the sound of her name. “Yes?”

The taller girl made a grunting noise, and after a moment her face was visible over the back of the couch. “Hmm… When did you get back?”

“I just came home,” she replied. “Not much has happened yet, worry not.”

“Alright.” A pause; then: “What are you doing?”

“Not much.”

“Come here, then.” She held her hand out over the couch, beckoning. Her face was still tired, Idina noticed. With a grin, she came back and settled on the couch with her girlfriend. In little time, the two became a tangle of blankets and limbs, and they were breathing in time with each other as they drifted into a nap together.

Idina + winning the lottery

IMMEDIATELY BOOKS A TRIP TO MONET’S GARDEN AND WOULD NOT LEAVE FOR SEVERAL DAYS

After someone (Lila) dragged her (and her dad) out of there, she would probably travel around France for a little while with Lila and her dad. Once that’s done, they’d all go back home and use a good portion of the remaining money towards her flower shop!

ALSO HEY HEY YANNO WHAT YOU SHOULD DO YOU SHOULD TELL TUMBLR ABOUT WINTER HIBERNATION IDINA AND LILA : D

OH MAN YES I SHOULD

Okay, so given the nastiness on nature that is wintertime, Idina gets S.A.D.-like symptoms around winter because flower girl and every plant being dead in the winter. She gets really tired and irritable during the wintertime, as well as generally being cold. She keeps a few pouches of berries etc on her person that do ease these symptoms, but usually for only a short time: proper rest works better.

Lila, on the other hand, wouldn’t be very affected by the change of season. Sure, plant-type food sources would be harder to find, but she can easily stock up. Plus, she’s naturally a human space heater, so the cold isn’t an issue for her.

So when the two of them get together in the fall, they’ve got a near-perfect setup as a pair. The two of them left Wildgard after he first blizzard hit, and they went a little further south to find slightly warmer shelters. Once they get to places that don’t make it so falling asleep outside could kill you, Lila and Idina live off of the berries, teas, and other provisions they’d gathered earlier, and Lila let’s Idina sleep as much as she needs (although the change of temperature does ease her symptoms). Usually these lengthy naps are taken together to keep warmer.

Basically, the most domestic thing you can imagine, complete with Lila brewing tea for Idina when she asks and fluffy kisses as a good morning. :3
