(Generally, It’s not good to wash mice the way you’d wash other pets. No soap with water. Here I just used a damp sponge because he can’t groom himself as well as he used to. Some spots he can’t reach or he can’t hold himself up long enough. His fur was looking a little disheveled.)

Lt. Dan & Mecha Man

Not my usual fandom but I NEED to talk about this since I haven't seen anyone mention it yet.

When Visi calls Robert "Lt. Dan" on his first shift as Dispatcher in episode 2 I can't BELIEVE how on the nose the comparison is.

Sure, Robert thinks it's a random nickname but it got me thinking.

Lt. Dan's whole premise in Forrest Gump is every single man in his family- his father, grandfather,, etc has fought and died in a war. As he lays dying after getting caught in a blast in Vietnam, Lt Dan demands Forrest to leave him to die as he calls it his destiny- just like how it's made clear Robert sees dying in the Mecha Man suit as a family tradition since that's how his own father and grandfather passed.

And just like Lt. Dan, Robert isn't ready to face a life where he's not on the front lines risking his life and continuing tradition.

And you cannot tell me this doesn't have the same energy:

ALSO Visi knew Robert was Mecha Man from the start. Everyone knows about the previous Mecha Mans in that world so I know for sure our cinephile girlie absolutely stayed up one night and made the connection too.
