Michelle Forbes as Lieutenant Jackson 2015 in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” (Part 2)

Day 99 // ft. Jackson, JJ, Gia and her parents
#9 / Computer
“She did it.”
“No, he did.”
Jackson looked between both children, raising an eyebrow. The teacher had called him and another child’s parents after the two children had wrecked a computer. Both of the children refused to explain what had happened, and were both blaming the other.
“Gia, why don’t you tell us what really happened?”
“No!”
The senior lieutenant and nurse looked at Jackson, expecting him to try and get an answer from his son. “So, JJ, how’d the computer explode?”
“It just did.”
“What were you doing on it?”
“A project. We were making a presentation about our parents' homeworlds, comparing and contrasting them.”
“So… Cardassia Prime, Earth, and…?”
“Andoria and Mars.”
“That sounds interesting. A desert world covered with ocean, a paradise planet, an ice world, and a terraformed world. How far into the project were you?”
“Jackson, what does that have to-”
“Shut up, sir. I’m not done talking.” He focused back on his son. “So?”
“We were almost done.”
“That’s not true!” Gia protested. “We finished! You started looking up weird space phenomena!”
“You wanted to watch boring fiction shows.”
“They’re not boring!”
“They are so.”
Jackson put a hand on both kids’ shoulders. “I’m biased, but I agree. Cartoons are pretty boring. However, they can also be educational. So, JJ, you got control of the computer?”
“No. She kept putting on her show. And it wasn't an educational one, either. It was just boring.”
“No more using the word boring. It’s getting tedious.”
“So I kept putting it back on my research papers.”
“They’re scary!” Gia protested. “I didn’t like them!”
“Space is scary, kid,” Jackson warned her, shrugging. “Live with it.”
“Jackson.”
“Sir, shut up. Okay. So, which one of you broke the computer so the other one wouldn’t get to use it? JJ, my latinum’s on you.”
JJ stepped back in surprise. “What? Why?”
“Because your yadik showed you how to make computers and other pieces of equipment blow up in the exact same way as that computer did last week.” Tadak was on bedrest now that he was just a month away from giving birth to twins and having a hard time of it, and had taken to teaching their son all the skills he’d learned on Cardassia to pass the time. “Now I’ll have to fix it later. Let’s go home. I’ve got to get back to my station.”
“Aw, Father!” JJ pouted as his father lifted him up. “Father, do you think Yadik will be proud of me? I did exactly as he showed me.”
“Oh, he’ll be insufferable. I’m never going to hear the end of it.”
Day 88 // ft. Lieutenant Jackson and Gul Tadak Erett (more ST ocs)
#94 / Unpredictable
“You’re so sexy when you’re all hot and bothered,” Lieutenant Jackson told him, mouthing the scales on the back of his neck. “I wasn’t so sure about arguing being good foreplay, but now I’m convinced.”
He nipped a swollen ridge and Tadak gasped. “Lieutenant…”
“You sure are sensitive when you’re pregnant, Erett. I might just hope you and your wife have a big, proper Cardassian family.” He would be doing no such thing, but he wasn’t sure whether or not he should tell the human that. It would definitely put a stop to what they were currently doing. Then, there was the matter of how Jackson would react… Humans were so unpredictable, Jackson especially so. Tadak groaned softly as the man reached around to rub his swollen belly. The baby squirmed around inside of him, only enough for him to feel, and Tadak decided that he would try to tell Jackson tonight.
“I don’t know about that…” Jackson’s hand lowered to the sensitive indent above his slit. The touch made Tadak wish he could evert, but he wouldn’t be able to until the baby was born.
“Aw. Don’t let me get in the way of your family planning. I know how important that is to you Cardassians.”
“No, it’s… My wife left me.” The hand pulled away from his belly, and he turned onto his back so he could look at Jackson. The lieutenant had an odd expression on his face.
Raising an eyebrow, Jackson asked, “Why? Did she find out about us?”
“No. We’d always planned this. I married her so her father couldn’t keep her from learning to be a scientist. Once she had a full education and stable job, we broke our enjoinment.”
“How kind of you.”
“She’s my closest friend.”
Jackson thought for a moment and then narrowed his eyes. He held Tadak’s jaw in his hand, squeezing slightly more than was comfortable. “How long ago did you split?”
“Half a year ago.”
“...And how far along are you?”
“Three months.”
