I think the principal opposition against the cancelation trend I've seen (besides taking the show away from other viewers) is because a lot of people don't really understand how the industry works? I mean I've seen them being worried about people losing their jobs and I'm like "honey... they're ALL unemployed right now" since it's between seasons AND they don't know if they're gonna be renewed. But yeah, seeing that level of indecision is exhausting to be honest...

Ok, but consider this…the vast majority of those other viewers can just change the channel. The vast majority of those other viewers are not a marginalized community. What kind of weak excuse is that?

People have tried to come into my inbox and attempted to educate me on how this industry works. Please have a seat and get comfy, you’re in for a ride if you try and come school me on what I’ve been working on for the past ten years.

hey, just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one who needs to be angry, like fueled by righteous anger to keep up :) right now, i'm sadly running out on empty but i bet that before the night is over, i'm gonna be back in the saddle too. (i really wish society didn't beat the fight out of us and for so long that lying down seems like a viable option)

this is exactly where i’m at. i’m glad i’m not the only person in the fandom at least who’s feeling kinda wishy-washy about the whole thing. i feel like i’m flopping back and forth but you can practically track my moods based on what i’m saying about the boycott--when i’m feeling resigned and fed up i’m more ‘well maybe we’re taking it a little far’ and when the anger kicks in is when i’m like ‘LET THE BITCH BURN’ and i honestly wish i could stay with that like, violent anger 24/7 because it would keep me motivated.
