Hey love!

I've started doing stand-up comedy open mics a few weeks ago. They're a lot of fun and give me an excellent opportunity to bitch about work.

What have you been up to? Before Dawn was such a treat 💝

Thank you so much! I feel like a broken record but 2025 really is giving bullet train energy. I have some great things going on this year which I am SO GRATEFUL to have but my god...my proper downtime is a bit of a memory 😂

I'm getting a knee operation next Friday which I'm actually excited about. Please god, get me back to normal. And I have TWO WEEKS OFF WORK 😳☠️👀👀 I am gonna potato so hard you don't even know. Happy days.

The flip side is, I have 4 more days to try and cover like 3 weeks of work deadlines but that's Monday LGGs problem 😇

life series asks: 5 and 16?

[ 5 ] Favourite build?

I'm biased and love ALL of Bdubs' builds in general, tho all of his in the Life Series mean everything to him they are physical manifestations of his love and his soul that is made out of his love for his people -- there are reasons why he tries so hard to salvage the builds in the first seasons i cough and cry... Out of all of them though, I've probably drawn the Crastle more than any human being should. It because of Bdubs was the lone build that survived all of 3rd Life it kept coming back up despite (literally) everything that was thrown at it. Small, compacted thing with many defences - it would be designed for Cleo (and others but MAINLY cledubs) like how Bdubs pledged his allegiance to her like a knight to a noble.

Last Life Snow Fort and all its iterations comes at a close second but for sad reasons :,] (the crastle just a little more because its got both meaning AND looks)

[16] Are there any gimmicks/mechanics you'd get rid of? If given the choice? If yes, why? Not exactly 'get rid of' but I wish they tweaked the Double Life soulmate mechanic to make the finales a bit more interesting. Like the red saying "Once you turn red ALL SOCIAL BONDS are broken" taken literally and the shared HP breaks when a pair turns red. Like... example if a couple was unhappy in their soulbound this rule can be used as an incentive or a thing to be afraid of etc.

Additionally get rid of the bogeyman mechanic in Limited Life. Like in the long run (by how the teams treated it) it makes sense - but the bogeyman was LAST LIFE'S thing, liml would have been fine without it.

Do you enjoy copywriting as a job?

Has creative writing always been a hobby of yours?

I love it! I'm very grateful to be able to do what I enjoy on a daily basis and I have a great team and a great boss. Though I might be wrecking my body a little by having my job and my hobby both involve hunching over a laptop haha. I can't really look at my computer anymore without blue light glasses, it just strains my eyes.

I've been doing creative writing about since I could hold a pen. Writing has always been my passion. It was a lot of short stories when I was younger (I used to have a fictionpress account, going way back) and then I discovered fanfiction and started writing about nine years ago. There was a year or so where I was between fandoms and didn't have any inspiration to write and I missed it so much. And then I saw S2 and the rest is history!

26 / Huh... I'm a silly personality just all in all. It contains that I often squeek and speak in funny voices, or acting weird in public, like... singing hella loud at the park or smth. But only if I have company! I'm nervous alone.

Sometimes I feel like, weird bc I don’t have a friend group? Like I have friends but I don’t have a friend group, just individual friends. Is that normal once you’re an adult or is it weird??? Bc I’m autistic and don’t really know

It’s very normal and happens very often over the course of your life. I’m currently in a very similar position. I hang out with other people’s friend groups but I’m really only friends with one or two people from each.

I think that happens as we get older when we realize we don’t actually have to hang out with people we don’t like. Also school doesn’t force us to see people every day who we don’t care about.
