My country has fucked itself over a second time in two years. Do these assholes think of their grandkids or anyone else who’ll be around here to deal with the nonsense?
Well, from a distance I’d say the result of those midterms could have been a lot better. But they also could have been a lot worse. So hats off to all the young people who went to vote for the first time and just all the millions of people who put their vote in showing their country and the whole world that the US right now isn’t just DJT and his headless followers!
That being said...yes, it sucks that the results aren’t as good as they could have been but now it’s up to the opposition to show that even though they didn’t win as much as they could have they’ll not let themselves become blinded by anger but that they’ll show what’s up by their actions.
And hopefully they will be so effective that during the next vote there won’t even be a shadow of a doubt about who’ll be elected as new president and no one will even think about giving the worst thing to ever happen to America another four years.
