"I have always been a planner. I started thinking about college when I was eight years old. I chose a university in the fall of my junior year in high school, and decided in no uncertain terms that that would be where I would spend my college years – never mind what that school had to say. Thankfully, the school said yes!
I arrived at Fordham College at Lincoln Center and immersed myself in the college experience – I relished my courses, joined clubs on campus, met loads of new people and began planning my future. But between planning a semester in London and landing the world’s greatest internship, I forgot about falling in love. I was having too much fun making new friends and setting new goals to worry about a relationship. I planned to make the most of my time in college and land a brilliant job after graduation. I believed that my career trumped everything else, and that if a great guy came along, he would just have to fit himself into my fabulous, pre-plotted life. That was the plan..."
