Lifeclip: The Essential Social Media Photo APP
LIFECLIP 3.0 IN THE APP STORE NOW
Freedom to post. No ADS. No restrictions. No fee.
Lifeclip has released a new version, here are a few APP highlights:
No image posting restrictions: You have Public & Private albums. Public restrictions are listed in our Terms of Service & are set to keep a non age restricted Public environment . Private albums are for you to post whatever your heart desires. The difference between the two is that ALL of the Lifeclip users can see Public, while only those that “tune in” can see Private.
Privacy: You can set your entire profile to private, requiring approval from you for anyone to tune in. This also means you can keep your images out of the Public feed.
Sharing: You can feed your images to Facebook, Twitter & Tumblr. Lifeclip is very Twitter friendly. While Instagram removed the Twitter card so images cannot be viewed unless you are rerouted to Instagram; Lifeclip works flawlessly with Twitter.
Free Promotion: You can add a web link to your images! Promote yourself, your product, your friends, for free!
No image restrictions: A popular complaint from #Instagram and other mobile image APP users is that inability to post pictures the way they desire. #Instacrop can drive someone mad! With #Lifeclip you can import the full image or crop it. You can also import your entire Instagram album with one click, upload individual Instagram or Facebook images, & sync your account with Instagram if you desire. There are dynamic filters built in, fun & classic frames, one click enhancement, the ability to add text to images & much more.
They are your images, share them your way with Lifeclip.
*The APP is currently available for iPhone* Download it today in the APP store.

The Instagram TOS/Policy Lawsuit Debacle
There is a media explosion regarding huge corporation #Instagram, owned by #Facebook and their efforts to get the TOS Lawsuit filed against them dismissed.
After the initial public outcry against this photo sharing APP in December, they quickly back tracked and edited their new TOS. One problem is, all they did was move the wording around. Their TOS are like reading a tedious novel; the majority of users just skim this wordy legal text document. Instagram highlighted what they knew their main demographic would focus on and carefully placed the stronger restrictions deeper in the document.
This article http://news.yahoo.com/instragram-asks-court-throw-lawsuit-over-terms-031433888--sector.html points out that:
"Instagram kept language that gave it the ability to place ads in conjunction with user content, saying "that we may not always identify paid services, sponsored content, or commercial communications as such." It also kept the mandatory arbitration clause.
This article states the same issue http://techcrunch.com/2013/02/13/instagram-seeks-to-dismiss-class-action-lawsuit-over-policy-changes/ :
"Kevin Systrom ... kept language indicating “that we may not always identify paid services, sponsored content, or commercial communications as such.” Instagram also kept wording that gives it the ability to place ads related to user content, as well as a new mandatory arbitration clause that means users waive their rights to participate in class action lawsuits under almost all circumstances (the lawsuit came before the new TOS went in effect on January 19).
What's the message here? Why flock to an APP that does not have the users interest at heart? Can the corporate giant not settle the TOS dispute?
Use an APP that conveys their Terms of Service clearly, in readable (not legal) text. Use #Lifeclip, we have nothing to hide: http://www.lifeclip.com/termsofservice

As many of you know Instagram now has web profiles that you can interact with. The article linked details the interface.
Here at #Lifeclip we are unimpressed. With our web release just weeks away two important things to note are:
1. You can upload pictures via the web
2. We are not leaving space for AD placement.

We could not be more excited for Lifeclip 3.0 (iOS) to be released. We have pushed to Apple, and now we wait ... Since we all use the new APP, we thought it only appropriate to share with our community.
Here are some screen shots of the newest version. Enjoy!
Monday morning news feeds were filled with articles, complaints, and images from angry #Instagram and #Facebook users who had been locked out of their accounts.
These users pointed out that when they relogged in they were asked for Government Identification. This lead to a flurry of #Twitter and #Blog posts pointing out that this smells like a SCAM. According to a Facebook spokesperson ... It was not a scam at all!
We have posted the brief article from the link above here:
"The privacy policy changes Instagram put into effect Saturday apparently claimed a few victims, as CNET reported that several users of the Facebook-owned photo-sharing application complained of being locked out of their accounts over the weekend.
According to CNET, Yahoo Answers was flooded with threads on the topic, and users who were locked out were shown the following message, which led to them being required to upload photos of government-issued identification by Feb. 1:
Your account has been secured and requires account validation. Please login to Instagram.com from your desktop computer to validate your identify.
A Facebook spokesperson told CNET:
Instagram occasionally removes accounts due to violation of terms and, depending on the violation, may ask people to upload IDs for verification purposes."

Make sure you read some of the user experiences beneath the original story link.
Here at #Lifeclip, we don't want proof of ID ... how about a little privacy #Instagram ...
