I need to help someone bc I know someone is going through this right now! Here’s the scenario to make it plain. You purchased a URL or a Domain name for your website! It is your main URL like mine is bgpromotionsinc.com. Then, you decided to purchase another temporary URL that you will forward to your main URL that directs people to your website. This URL is maybe some catchy phrase such as mine, “I Am The Cheat Code .com” ( I can’t run it together bc FB will not let me post with that URL in my post) So that means that you can no longer forward a temporary URL or a Domain name without making that URL a permanent forward and masking. Every post that I used my catch phrase URLs with, have been removed on both FB and IG! Facebook aka Meta is changing the way you do business on FB and IG. I’m sure some of you may not understand what I’m saying but just know that you can only promote permanent URLs or Domain names on Facebook and Instagram platforms. I tell all my clients and my future clients, you need me to build your website and set it up for greatness. Once I lay your foundation, you pretty much don’t need me anymore unless you want to hire me next for Marketing. Social Media Platforms are only here to help you promote your product or services. Your website also needs to be compliant to the Laws that are now in affect or you could be sued for thousands of dollars. Many are doing their own websites and not aware of fines. Yes, they are out here now. And Free websites aren’t the deal. They are all blacklisted meaning, the internet will not let your site be found online by anyone, it allows outside advertising on your site automatically and so many other challenges. So, if you are a real company, you must pay for annual hosting. We creators wasn’t having internet or digital issues until Covid happened and they are now regulating it to find another way to hold us back from being successful. I hope this helps someone.
