So here's my funny summertime story. Several years ago (probably 8-10) my brothers, significant others, and I all went to an amusement park. They had a new water park, which we were so excited to try out! We headed over to the big raft water slide. This slide has a huge raft on it where several people can ride down the slide together. Sounds fun, right? Well, there was a weight limit. We exceeded that weight limit. You see, my husband is a big guy. And my brother (@lostinlit_becca's husband) is also a big guy. So the four of us got on and questioned the weight limit, at which time we were told we would be fine. We were not fine. It was a death trap. We barely made it down the slide without dying, hit the water at warp speed, and poor Becca went flying out of the raft into the pool. When she was flung out, the raft closed in and almost broke my hand. My contact moved and I couldn't see a thing. I was screaming, "my contacts! I can't see!" Then I heard my brother screaming, "Where's Becca?! Where's Becca?!", to which I replied, "I don't know! I can't see! Where's Becca?!" Then I feel pushes under the raft and realize she's stuck UNDERWATER, UNDER OUR RAFT! We proceeded to quickly move and Becca was able to resurface before any damage was done. (Phew!) Man, what an experience. We still talk about it to this day.
