Why don't you ship it?

It’s not that much that I don’t ship it; but like... i don’t really care about it? I absolutely love their friendship dynamic and how they work together, so... i don’t feel like adding a romantic relationship on the top is necessary you feel? 

What would have made you like it?

Honestly? them not being so drift-compatible and such good friends already

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

It’s fun, and you can definitely get some great comedic strokes out of it (”wait bro, I think we’ve been dating for the past 3 years” and others)

also they match great together. And they’re canon and I always have a soft spot for canon couples ha 

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I love how we get to see the evolution of their relationship, discreetly in the background in canon. And, idk. They just work together 

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

It’s a ship i like to write/read about in the background... But tbf i doubt I’ll ever write anything where they’re the centre of the plot and I would read such a fic either except if the plot seems really out of the ordinary.... Also shardo is an awful ship name

If you want one with the news, Up First from NPR is really good. It's a short roundup of everything you need to know for the day (usually pretty US-centric). It's up by 6am EST. I'm also a big, bug fan of Radio Lab, Ask Me Another, and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me (I realize these are all NPR but like, I love them)
