A gift of #sunshine in the post arrived after such a rainy week: this hand-thrown vessel is by #TanyaGomez, a wonderful UK ceramicist who stayed one recent night in the A+R guest house, along with her brother Philip_Wood. A dear friend, Philip’s long-ago collection #CitizenCitizen offered conceptual work by some of the leading young design stars of the day, and the products helped put A+R on the global map. Philip accompanied his sister on her west coast tour to introduce the work (check her out @tgceramics), and we connected her with a few choice galleries here in LA…so stay tuned...
