He actually said "Kee-Kee, I love what we have. I dont ever want it to change." I heard him say it but I interpreted it...I received it as "Kee-Kee, I love you and I never want that to change." This was nearly 20 years ago. I was a different person then. I was under so much pressure to be in a relationship that would get me to the coveted MRS. In retrospect, idk the reason i was chasing marriage. I never knew a successful happy or faithful marriage. I was setting myself up for heartbreak and failure bc i refused to believe what he said was true. Im telling yall this bc I dont want yall to hurt like ive hurt. I caused that pain. Sometimes we want things so badly that we jump too fast, believe what has never been said or refuse to believe what has been said and/or done. Love yourself. This used to be me (part 1) Living like tomorrow was promised. Monday-Saturday living in and loving my sin. Sunday in church falln out and apologizing knowing good and well I wasnt ready or willing to give up fornicating, playing mind games with men, being self righteous and justifying my foolishness. I didnt know i had gifts. I thought people just loved me bc i was me; not that he granted me favor among all people. I thought people listened to me and did what i said bc i was me...u know positive, a little smart, and a whole lotta cute; not that God gifted me with wisdom and ability to prophesy and counsel. See what God buried in me for kingdom use, the devil used to try to kill me and to help him destroy others. He hid my gifts under my brokeness so i couldnt see them for what they truly were. But God... He had predestined a plan for my life. He had already set me apart but i didnt know what that fully meant. The devil took advantage of that. Some could have called me a hypocrit.
