How You Interact: Dating Lightiplier

Fic Request:  “Lightiplier relationship headcanons”

P.S If you don’t know who this Ego is, he’s the Light!Side of Markiplier. The complete opposite of Darkiplier. He’s an Angel with white wing speckled with gold. He’s not canon much but I have seen him around a small bit and he is an adorable bean! Hope you enjoy!!

- Very shy boy. He likes to ask permission before touching you when you first meet. Light knows that personal space is a big thing for alot of people and he doesn’t want to tread on any boundaries you may have. 

- Light is very affectionate, but only small things. Intimacy only comes when you’ve been together for a long time or after marriage. But sex isn’t a priority to Light. If you don’t want to do it, he’s happy to settle with forehead kisses and tight, warm hugs. 

- When it comes to you giving the affection, Light blushes deeply and smiles sheepishly. Every kiss is like the first, as he explained once. It’s very intimate to him and he adores every touch. Even hand holding will make his voice stutter at the first brush of your fingers.

- He’s very attentive to your emotions. He learns your tells and needs quickly so he can provide the best comfort when needed. Even the smallest frown is taken care of with cuddles or warm beverages. Light never wants to see you cry, but knows the importance of letting you release tears when things get overwhelming. 

- Whenever this happens, Light cradles you against him. His wings shielding you from the world as you cry against his shoulder. He holds you tightly but carefully, whispering encouraging things to you. Passing onto you that he is there for you, and that he is proud of you for being so strong. And assuring you that it is ok to cry every so often. 

- If there’s a bump in the relationship, Light likes to nip it in the bud. He believes communication is key in a healthy relationship. Whether it was friends or more. He’ll sit with you and talk over what was bother you or him. And resolve it calmly, even if you both were to get upset. 

- When you get free time, Light enjoys taking you outside for some fresh air and sunshine. He’ll take you flying if you’re comfortable with heights and visit isolated areas. Ones that the public have very rarely seen or have been kept secret from the world. 

- Light will bring a blanket for you both to sit on and enjoy each others company in the quiet. Sometimes he’ll explore with you. And the two of you will try and get the animals and birds to come near you with pieces of food you had brought along. 

- When in public, Light can conceal his wings by using similar abilities to Dark. But his mind manipulation leaves a positive energy on those he affects. And he’ll use it on you (with your permission) so you can feel at ease in places you feel uncomfortable. 

- He’ll want to adopt every dog he sees. So expect a few stray dogs to come home with him.  “They were all alone in the rain. I couldn’t just leave them outside. They’ll behave I promise, and I’ll clean up any mess they make.” 

- You end up having near ten or more dogs at one point.

- Light is always caught staring at you with adoration. Getting lost in watching you do something you enjoy. The little concentrated smile you wear is something he can never look away from. Or he’ll get lost in listening to you talk about something you find interesting. 

- He’s head-over heels for you the moment you caught his eye. And every morning he brings you a bunch of flowers he plucked from the garden outside. Kissing your temple as he coax’s you gently from slumber.

Trick-Or-Treat Club (Part 1)

Note: A tiny bit indulgent. But only mentions.

Also this is part of a series I’m cooking up for Halloween. But nothing scary, just Angel!egos doing some cute and wholesome stuff. 

And kudos to @freckled-words because she helped me out with this!!!! LOVE YOU!!

Halloween was an enchanting time of year. The activities and festivities. The decorations that turned the houses into delightful orange displays, or into terrifying nightmares.

Either way, it was an adventure to wander the neighbourhoods at night. Light kept to the busier streets; smiling as he watched the kids run back and forth between the houses. Giving a chuckle here and there when a statue came to life, scaring the wits out of those that came too close to it’s precious bowl of sweets. 

Light had long since learnt that it sometimes was easier to buy your own sweets than risk a heart-attack at the hands of a mechanical ghoul.

So he had bought his own. Allowing him to safely lean against the fence by the Scribbles House. Safe and sound and away from terror.

The Treaters had started early this year, and Light had already been out and about for over three hours. Still heaps of kids wandered around, and down the street a few teenagers were throwing a party. A celebration for the neighbourhood to come in and see each others costumes.

However, even with all the groups of people walking around, Light didn’t miss his entourage of ghouls sneaking up nearby. 

Light smiled a little to himself, pocketing his sweets and stepping away from the fence. He carried on down the street, keeping his wings comfortably folded against his back. Tonight was one of few he could allow his wings to be seen. Or at least allow them to appear flesh and feather. And already he had attracted the local theorists.

Usually, Light wouldn’t be seen at all. His perception ability working enough to slip through crowds unnoticed. Or pass through the skies mistaken for a large bird.

However, tonight he wanted to stretch his wings. Attempt to wander the streets with his feathers out in the open for all to see. It attracted quite a few awed stares. Most of which he would shyly smile and greet whoever wanted a photo with him. 

A risky thing to do, but Light enjoyed the smiles such simple gestures brought. 

Which brought his attention to the small figures that dashed behind the fence of a house he had just passed. He could sense their eyes on him, hearing the soft gasps whenever he flexed his wings enough to make them shimmer their gold shine. 

He chuckled and turned. Catching a glimpse of a bloodied face duck behind the fence.

“Alright kids, come on out. I know you’re there.” Light called. Crossing his arms over his chests, almost in a scolding manner. But he wasn’t mad or upset that they had been following him. 

His broad smile and warm gaze spoke nothing more than amusement. 

The kids themselves sighed and sheepishly came out of hiding. Light knew them by name. They were the youngest in the local area and also the most troublesome. Mostly from curiosity, but that was a dangerous trait to possess when they lived so close to the House. The very House that held a few... unkindly egos.

“How did you know we were there?” George asked. Peering up at Light with one eye, but he removed the patch he was wearing with his pirate costume to get a better look at the angel. 

“You weren’t exactly being subtle about it,” Light teased. “The other trick-or-treaters were staring at you.” 

Sally, the only girl in their group and also the eldest, frowned in irritation. Stomping her foot childishly. “That’s not fair! We tried real hard this time.” 

Light shrugged and went to further tease them, but he became a little more serious when he saw the cut on Sally’s hand. 

“What happened?” He asked. Stepping forward and crouching in front of her to take a look. Sally attempted to play it off as nothing, but hiding pain, even a small sliver of it, from Light was useless. 

“I fell over on our way here,” Sally admitted. Obviously embarrassed she had gotten blood on her Bloody Mary costume. Even though most of the fabric had fake blood on it already. “It stopped bleeding though. So it’s ok.” 

“You should be more careful.” Light murmured softly. Offering Sally his hand, silently asking permission to touch her. Sally laid her injured hand in his and Light grimaced at the sight of the dried blood. It wasn’t a deep cut, but it still looked painful.

Glancing around, Light took note of the other residents on the street. They were all busy with their kids or getting sweets. So no one would notice a little magic. 

Light curled his wings forward. Shielding Sally and the other two kids from on-lookers as he plucked a small feather from his wing. 

He concentrated, melting his power into the soft fibres of the feather until it took on a gentle gold glow. 

Sally gasped as Light laid in over her palm. Watching it dissolve over her skin and take a liquid form that covered the cut. Her skin tingled pleasantly as the blood disappeared and her cut healed. Returning to normal as the glow dimmed into nothing. 

“That. Was. Awesome!” Alex, the youngest of the three hissed excitedly. And Light chuckled, folding his wings and releasing Sally’s hand. 

“Now, what have I told you three about my feathers?” Light asked. A very small edge of seriousness to his tone. 

Sally touched the spot where her cut had been. Finding a pleasant warmth lingering on her skin as her thumb brushed over it. 

She smiled and met Light’s eyes with a touch of her own seriousness. 

“To not tell anyone.” 

“And we can’t tell that scary guy that you showed us.” Alex butted in. Obviously proud that he had remembered that bit. 

Which was very important since Light wasn’t suppose to be out on nights like this. But Dark wasn’t around to be any type of fun-policeman. 

“Can we come to Scribbles’ Halloween party tonight?” George asked. Hope sparking in their eyes as Light stood. 

He couldn’t say no to their faces. He was a push-over! And they were adorable in their cute little outfits and big round eyes. 

Light sighed and tried his best to be somewhat impassive. 

“If your parents say yes, then I see no problem with it. But you have to have their permission, ok? I’ll know if you’re lying to me.” Light said. Ignoring how cute their excited grins were. 

“We’ll ask. Promise!” Alex said. Already turning on his heel to sprint back home. George was quick to catch up.

“Thank you, Light!” Sally said, waving her now healed hand as she hurried to catch up with her friends.
