Its been an interesting week for sure, but I got some art done. This is the first finished peice I've done in a while, most of the art I've posted recently are like months old. I actually finished this one today, but it did take a couple weeks to complete because I was lazy.

On a side note I did do some experimenting on the rendering. I rendered armour for the first time! (it doesnt look that good, but still!)

I believe this is called Light Cream. There so cute hehehehe.

Me at 2am: so we have Cream and Dark Cream (even Sour Cream and the Romance protag arc!). But what would Light Cream be?..

Like, almost-yet-still-not-Cream, because Dream is way too "young", while Cross is still XTale!Sans (before Underverse).

What would their dynamic be? Would their chance meeting prevent Sans' fateful mistake?? Would they both join Star Sanses pff—

P. S. Confused? :) The reason's in Sans' blood! Since he hasn't absorbed the X-Event's soul yet (*´∇｀*)

Pure Vanilla dealing with culture shock when it comes to the Vanilla Kingdom's disgracing vs the Creme Republic's disgracing-

Had to make a quick edit to Light Cream's story to make it fit real quick.

Ough I want to ask about the doggo doomed yuri...Was Grand Madeleine going back to her old ways a gradual regression or was it an impulsive thing that she regretted later?And what does she mean that Light Cream doesn't need her anymore?

IT IS . SO BAD. now they’ve had a history of being close/having an on and off ‘best friend status’ but when light creams being shunned by the republic this is where it gets the most “severe.” this is almost a respite, it’s almost comforting to know that there’s still one chance at this, one chance at her life turning around by this other cookie who’s had everything so nicely planned for her already. but it’s a few nights before and light cream realises that despite everything, even if she sticks her paw out from the republic which “accepts” her, she will never find the true catharsis she’s been looking for, the true satisfaction and safety and happiness she is denied by being put on a tight leash. it’s something which can ebb and fall so quickly, and she already leaves a few nights after that incident.

now, grand madeleine was stuck in her ways, still is. she was always graced by the republic, especially on account of being the mother to such a noble cookie (madeleine himself)… until that very son discovers that shes “not of pure blood” (shes always managed to hide it, how did he figure it out?) so in an act of fury, he nearly slaughters her, and she narrowly escapes to go find light creams on that very route they took in secret all those years ago. but its too late. its been so many years, light cream is now in a place where she doesn’t have to worry anymore, and grand madeleine was too late to truly listen to her heart.

Caramel Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Serves: 8

Ingredients:

single-crust pie pastry dough

2 eggs, slightly beaten

1 15oz can pumpkin

1/4 cup half & half, light cream, or milk

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 Tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tsp lemon peel, finely shredded

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp ground allspice

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

2 Tbsp butter, softened

Directions:

1. Prepare and roll out pastry. Line a 9-inch plate with pastry. Trim; crimp edge as desired.

2. In a large bowl stir together eggs, pumpkin, and half & half or milk. Stir in granulated sugar, flour, lemon peel, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.

3. Pour pumpkin mixture into the pastry-linedthe plate.

4. Cover the edge of the pie with foil to prevent over-browning. Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees F.

5. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl stir together the brown sugar, pecans, and butter until combined.

6. Remove the foil. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over top of the pie.

7. Bake for 20 minutes more or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean and topping is golden and bubbly.

8. Cool on a wire rack. Cover and refrigerate within 2 hours.

It's taken me several years to perfect this recipe. Now everyone asks, 'When are you making the eggnog?!' This uses cooked eggs for safety, and you can use more or less rum to taste.
