Elementality: fire, light, vitality
Diet: souls. Also bugs.
Conservation status: varied
Can be kept as pet?: if you're one of those psychos who keeps will-o-wisps as a pet, how do you guys not die? This is a genuine question. You cannot approach these things without dying. How do you guys have them as fireplaces? It's not even like a dragon or a wild animal where you just have to not get attacked, these things genuinely just make you start to die if you knowingly approach.
Uhh... i don't have a ton of facts about Will-o-wisps because they terrify me.
They evolved to look like dragon eyes as defensive mimicry against salamanders (both reptile and amphibian)
They do not stop growing. The largest recorded Drake's eye was used as a weapon in the fourth great faye war, nicknamed project:Scour. it measured nearly nine meters wide.
