OK so here's a Monster High fire elemental analysis. With a dash of headcannons. Although it's more focused on Heath and Holt.
Now from what we can see, Holt and Heath are both fire elementals, but Heath is the only one who exhibits fire manipulation.
Both within the TV specials and in the webisodes.
So far we've seen Heath have the capability of:
Having hair that sets alight when he's excited or mad
Setting one finger alight akin to a candle
Be able to burn through metal
Conjuring fire/fireballs (and throwing them)
Sneezing fire
Blowing smoke
However we never see Holt show any fire abilities like this in either media.
Like yeah, he looks the part and has his stuff decorated with flames, but he never shows any fire powers.
However, there's one instance where he does display this and it's in his diary.
In it, he was so mad that he melted a pen.
So yeah, he definitely does have the ability to heat things, but it's only shown here. It also seems that like Heath, his powers are dependent on his anger or at most excitement.
But with this in mind, I'd like to share a headcannon about Holt's fire abilities:
His hair isn't capable of setting fire
He can heat/burn things like Heath, but it takes more concentration than what's usual for other elementals.
It also depends on his mood as well. For example, anger and frustration would fuel the fire (hehe pun intended) for him to burn something
If he really wanted to burn something completely (depending on how flammable the object's material is) he'd have to focus on it intently and/or channel any anger into it.
So basically, all this to say is that burning things comes more naturally to Heath than to Holt, and it's mostly because he's half-fire elemental. (Or maybe its because Heath is such a klutz lol)
Idk, I just like the idea that there'd be some differences between the two since one is a full on elemental and the other isn't.
