Weredad but instead of Marinette saying she has a crush on Chat, she blurts out she has a crush on Ladybug and the rest of the episode is Chat's reactuon (how would he react to someone he knows and is semi close-to having a crush on his Lady?), Papa Dupain's reaction, and the hijinks and hilarity that ensue from there. All the while, Mari is about to die and Tikki is wheezing in the corner because this is fundamentally the best and most foolproof cover ever. who on earth would suspect Mari???? Not even to MENTION the fact that Papa-Dupain WILL make a campaign to destroy Chat because his daughter is fighting against a Superhero??? She needs the backing to destroy him in her quest for love.
Better yet: Make it a season-long gag.
Alya keeps asking her whether she would prefer to date Adrien or LB and Mari dissolves into a puddle of embarrassment and mild amusement and Alya takes this as Mari being a Bi disaster and suddenly all her weird tendencies during akuma attacks have an explanation.
